Honda CR-Z Hybrid vs BMW
Infineon Raceway 11/3/10 Honda CR-Z vs New Bimmer

Honda CR-Z sounds good ! Stock vs light tuned HKS + Spoon parts.
So far i see no impact on my MPG. Throttle reactivity is way faster, the rev jumps faster at high rpm while shifting. Sound in tunnel is Ferrari-like. Both Spoon and HKS items are perfect in every detail. Some power gain is felt from 3000 rpm and up. Spoon Throttle body comes with full electronics mod, the engine is driven differently, econ mode driving is made easier too. Stock was great but, now CR-Z is even more fun to drive; sounds even more "Honda". Still not an EK9, but a nice move in the right direction. *the first cut of video while title is made with stock CR-Z, then i recorded 3 identical situations, then i stitched them to hear differences. RPM is limited to 4,9K when car is not moving, this is supposed to be a "launch control". the video is old now, i have modded very much ever since, still no negative impact on mpg.

DRIVE- Honda CR-Z EX
The Honda CR-X is a car many reminisce about and many see the new CR-Z as a modern reincarnation. Honda says "nope, it's new kind of sporty coupe". Can the Z's IMA hybrid system unite performance junkies and tree huggers? Tom Voelk checks it out.

2011 Honda CR-Z Review - Honda builds a better MINI Cooper, that just happens to be a hybrid
It's not an econo hatchback for all, but a niche market hybrid perfectly targeted to appeal to a certain group of consumers. No, it doesn't attract the ultra granolas, nor is it a hit with the sort of enthusiasts who know their Hondas not by name, but by chassis code. Instead, the CR-Z is built to appeal to young, urban individuals who value style, fuel economy and a fun-to-drive spirit. http://www.autoguide.com/manufacturer/honda/2011-honda-crz-review-video-146 9.html Subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=AutoGuideVideo http://www.youtube.com/Autoguide Twitter http://twitter.com/AutoGuide http://twitter.com/ColumWood Facebook - http://facebook.com/AutoGuide Google+ - http://goo.gl/LBxsP Web - http://www.AutoGuide.com AutoGuide reviews the latest new cars with test drives, car comparisons and shootouts plus coverage of breaking auto industry news, auto shows, rumors and spy photos. Futurelooks Reviews the 2011 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe
UPDATE: Final thoughts and photo gallery posted: http://www.futurelooks.com/the-2011-honda-cr-z-sport-hybrid-video-review/ http://www.futurelooks.com - Futurelooks reviews their biggest gadget ever! The 2011 Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid coupe is the first of hopefully a line of vehicles that take the rubbish handling and feeling out of the hybrid concept. with a hot design reminiscent of the original "CRX" the CR-Z should make a hybrid driver out of you. That's if you don't have kids as the North American version is missing the backseats. During our test, the car definitely got some looks from passerbys and was a lot of fun overall. Full review and conclusions from the reviews are coming up on a post @futurelooks.com! Find out more about the Honda CR-Z Sport Hybrid: http://automobiles.honda.com/cr-z/ Production Notes: The video was mainly shot using the Canon HF 100 with a Halo Rig Mini and APEX 175 shotgun microphone. Other shots were done with the Olympus PEN E-P2 (Steve Weber segment) and an APEX 175 shotgun mic. All of the car chase shots were done with a couple of Flip Video Mino HDs attached using suction mounts. Everything was edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Magic Bullet Looks.
