We had the great privilage to do a photo/video shoot on the new BMW 1M Coupe. It's an amazing machine and very special. We only had a limited amount of time (Only a couple of hours) so we were winging every single shot we took with no planning or fancy equipment...except maybe the Go-pro lol

Auto Express gets behind the wheel of BMW's latest M Power car, the 1 Series M Coupe. Powered by a 335bhp 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine - a tweaked version of the unit from the 135i, it is capable of 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
Could this be the best M car since the original E30 M3? The new 1-Series M Coupé is about as back-to-basics as BMW's performance models get these days -- it's a simple formula of a powerful engine, a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
Factor in compact dimensions and you should have a spiritual successor to one of the most-loved M cars in history. But is it any good on UK roads? Auto Express took the wheel to find out.

Andre de Vries, also known as 'AdvEvo' on most automotive forums, shows us how to drift a BMW 1M. Andre is a long-time BMW owner and has been known to drift and race on some of the fastest circuits in Europe, including Spa Franchorchamp.

This car is looking very good with the M striping and the GTS spoiler. Together with the new Akrapovic Exhaust the car is finished! Nurburgring Lap 1M Coupe vs CSL
A lap with a Bmw 1M Coupe on the Nurburgring. The car was awesome and no problems whatsoever. BTG lap time was 8.15 with traffic and i also needed to back off throttle for an accident in the last part. Without traffic and the accident under 8 min BTG is possible. I am following a CSL. Which is a nurburgring track day car. CSL has a cage, big brakes, lightweight Exhaust and race seats en runs on pilotsport cup tires. The 1M coupe was completely off factory. I was amazed how well this 1M coupe runs on the Nurburgring.
