1972 vw beetle complete restoration through pics and vids, we have hundreds of pics and clipets so to keep things sweet here are just a few. original chassis was too far gone so why not start with a new one. left hand drive converted to right all mods done after exstensive reserch on the web (not much there) but all good and painted now. this build is from the ground up salvaging every part we can as any builder will know the new vs original is all in the thickness of the metal new parts seem to be wafer thin. heater channels are next but need to find a way to stop them condesing up which in turn causes...... RUST!!!! and this car is totaly rust free hopefully for the next 20yrs as it will be a daily driver and show car the body will be flawless just need a good color scheme. enjoy the pics and video of the newly painted chassis please rate and subscribe as this will be finished by the end of the season.......... brighton breeze?????

1972 VW Beetle Restoration - Rear Quarter Rust Repair
This 1972 VW Super Beetle is undergoing a full pan off Restoration at Kiddy's Classics in Jensen Beach, FL. - http://www.kiddysclassics.com - Like most Florida Beetle's this one has its fair share rust that needs repair. In this video you will see photos of the step-by-step process of removing the rust, and welding the new patch panels in place for a correct repair. The patches are hammered and dollied smooth and then lead (auto body solder) is used in place of bondo or other plastic fillers for a repair that will last for years to come.
