This car was given to my Wife's youngest sister as her first car. First, the radiator cracked, and was replaced, then she drove it over to my house thinking I was just going to replace the lower radiator hose that was slightly leaking. BUT, then it started "trying to cough something up" right as she got near my house.. Lucky she was so close! The water pump lost its bearings

This is the running and complete photo montage of my 1992 Geo Metro Convertible being rebuilt! I put .20 over pistons, and rings in, plus a new crankshaft, rebuilt head with aftermarket valves, all new pumps, new radiator, and an intake I bought on Ebay. Driving my Turbo 3 cyl. Geo Metro Swift
Some driving clips of my 91' Geo Metro with the guts from a MK2 Pontiac Firefly turbo. As far as a driving experience, it is leaps and bounds better than a stock n/a Geo Metro. I haven't driven a 4 cyl. Suzuki Swift Gt, but I assume those are even quicker and fun to drive. This car is a compromise between economy and performance. Got for 1k, needs some small things done to it, just cleaned the egr so it can pass smog, have to either get the injector cleaned professionals or buy a new one.





GEO Metro Turbo
This is a engine I am building for my Rans S-6 plane. It is a 2000 Suzuki Swift (Geo Metro) engine. 1.3 Liter, 16 valve. I tilted it on it's side. About 20 degrees up. It is turbo charged with a Garrett T25 turbo. Custom made intake manifold, Exhaust manifold and oil sump. Oil pan is removed and a alloy cover was made. Oil sump is in a 4" tube below engine. 20" long. This is done, so that the oil return from turbo can drain back into the sump abve the oil level without the need for an oil scavenging pump. Redrive is SPG gearbox. Propeller will be 3 blade 68" Warp Drive. Intercooler sits in front of engine. Setrab oil cooler for coolant radiator on side. Whole engine setup fits inside stock Rotax 912 engine cowling, with the exception of a small hump needed for the front part of the fuel rail. Expected horse power with 4 psi of Boost approximately 110 HP.
