A brief test drive of the all new full EV, Nissan LEAF. I was surprised at how quiet and peppy it was. Even though the 0-60 times aren't necessarily super impressive, it has low-end torque to give you power around town. Overall, very fun, and very excited for the future!

На одном из первых публичных представлений Лифа мне довелось покататься и потрогать Лиф за 2 месяца до начала официальных продаж. Машина оказалась отличной! размера приуса, с отличной динамикой и просторным салоном. Моё главное разочарование - нет подогрева сидений. С новой батарейкой лиф может проехать до 220км!!! Если будет ехать с постоянной скоростью 60КМ/ч по ровной дороге. По городу до 160км, если ехать со средней скоростью 31кмч (пробки) и максимальной скоростью 90кмч. А вот зимой по городу (с печкой в -10с) - можно проездить 4 с лишним часа по пробкам, или 100км - средняя 20км/ч. По дальности - мне достаточно! Не приведи судьба проводить в машине по стольку времени каждый день! Поубеждаю сам себя: Хочется - помочь стране покупать меньше нефти, и ездить на работу в теплой машине на батарейках (минимум 10км в день). Также хочется ездить по магазинам и с семьей на выходных - до 100км в день. Вариант 1: новый приус плюс батарейка. Приус минимум $24000, если без навигации и опций. Ну и более-менее надежная батарейка- $4000 на 10км. Вариант 2: БУ приус + батарейка. Приус с пробегом до 100тыс км стоит $15000. И это-то много, но старее точно брать не хочется. Батарейка опять же $4000 минимум. Вариант 3: сделать что-то самому: пачка батареек на 25км с контроллером и мотором стоит $6000, и никакой гарантии. Служат батарейки как правило 3-4 года, и потом осатточная стоимость машины почти равна нулю, если только за основу не был взят очень хороший донор. Итого стоимость самой переделки около $8000 плюс донор на 20-25км. Если купить батарей на 100км - это будет на $10000 больше. Итого, новый приус - сильно дороже. БУ приус всего немного дешевле (5 тыс) и оба требуют бензин для прогрева салона. Нет дистанционного управления. Самоделка если с хорошим донором, около-новым и с навигацией и музыкой - около $20000. Т.е. никакого финансового смысла. Вот и получается что Лиф в пределах 4тыс от более дешевых опций, и при этом несравненно лучше этих опций в качестве и гарантии. И ему НИКОГДА не нужно будет ехать на заправку. Цена Лифа в Орегоне через Nissan WIlsonwille - $23000 после возврата налогов. 2015 Nissan LEAF - Electric Vehicle Overview
"Unlike vehicles with an internal combustion engine, the Nissan LEAF is powered by electricity instead of gasoline. As a result, there are many unique systems and operating characteristics to be aware of when operating your vehicle. Your vehicle is equipped with two batteries: a high voltage lithium-ion battery for driving the vehicle, and a traditional 12-volt battery for powering systems such as the radio, headlights and windshield wipers. The lithium-ion battery also charges the 12-volt battery under certain conditions. When the EV system is off for an extended time, the 12-volt battery may still be regularly charged for a short period of time. Another difference between the LEAF and gasoline-powered vehicles is sound. While there is no traditional engine noise, you may notice some sounds unique to electric vehicle operation. These include: ● Traction motor noise while operating the vehicle, ● Water pump and radiator fan activation while charging, ● Compressor and radiator fan usage when the climate control timer is on, ● Relay operation sounds and vibrations at startup and shutdown, and ● A tone to alert pedestrians when the vehicle is driven at low speeds. Numerous factors affect the charge and performance of your vehicle. Here are some things you can do to maximize driving range: ● Accelerate smoothly and drive at moderate speeds; ● Keep the tires inflated to the correct pressure and the wheels in the correct alignment; ● Follow recommended periodic maintenance; ● Turn off the climate control system when it is not needed; ● Pre-heat or pre-cool the cabin while the vehicle is charging to minimize use of the climate control system while driving; ● Remove unnecessary cargo. Outside temperature is also an important consideration. Do not store the vehicle in temperatures below - 13° Fahrenheit for over seven days. If this occurs, the lithium-ion battery may freeze and it cannot be charged or provide power to run the vehicle. The lithium-ion battery heater does not operate if the available lithium-ion battery charge is less than approximately 30% and the charger is not connected to the vehicle. To prevent the lithium-ion battery from freezing, do not leave the vehicle in an environment if temperatures may go below - 1° Fahrenheit unless the vehicle is connected to a charger.
