Flowmaster exhaust on my V6 Mustang
Just got home from the Exhaust shop. It's a true dual with Flowmaster 40 mufflers. I'm not trying to make it something it's not, but the stock Exhaust was lame. Oh, and sorry about the wind noise in the clip. And to answer a few questions: I paid around $450 out the door. The stock cats are still there, the shop cut the pipe right after the cats to weld on the true dual. California emissions laws suck. I no longer have the car, gas prices forced me to sell it.

this is my (sold) 99 v6 Mustang dual Exhaust clip O/R H Midpipe Flowmaster Original 40s Mufflers It sounds pretty good idling and decent below 3k rpm, but anything after 3k starts to sound ricey, but overall its not bad.

The Evolution of my 2002 Mustang V6 this is 4 diff videos the 1st clip: stock EVERYTHING, Y pipe 2nd clip: H pipe, flowmaster orig 40s, 3inch tips 3rd clip: H pipe, flowmaster orig 40s, 3.5inch tips, cold air intake, under drive pulley, SCT chip. These are the best mods and DEF worth it 4th clip: H pipe, flowmaster orig 40s, cold air intake, under drive pulley, SCT chip, NO CATS WITH STOCK SHORTY HEADERS. 99-04 Mustang V6 OWNERS: no cats on stock shorty headers sounds good, its load and has the throaty sound, but it doesnt have a specific sound, i would say the sound is scattered and doesnt have a tone, i am soon to get ceramic coated longtube headers, that will sound amazing- i will post up a vid when i do I will be getting MAC long tube headers for the V6 and Loudmouth II mufflers.
