Figured I'd make 1 last in car video with the Go-Pro before the little 306"
comes out for good. Unfortunatly the Go-Pro didn't like the lighting but
the car sure pulled hard in the 50* weather we had during this shot. These
were on Mickey Thompson 26x10s e.t. drags that only had 9 passes on them so
they were fresh. Still couldn't grab traction. Since it was the last pull
with this little peanut motor I spun it up a little higher than normal.
Starting a 363" project next month. Thanks everyone for the kind words
you've all had for this motor/combo!
FASTEST STREET CAR IN AMERICA - Tom Bailey's 217 MPH '69 Camaro!
1000 miles, 4 tracks, 5 days, and 5 six second passes, if that doesn't
prove that this is the fastest street car in America (possibly the world),
I don't know what does! Tom Bailey and Steve Morris not only won Drag Week
2013, but they are also the first to run 5 consecutive six second passes at
2015 Ford Mustang Review - Kelley Blue Book
The sixth generation Mustang is radically different from
its predecessors. But when it comes to icons like the Mustang, change is a risky business.

N/A 347 Mustang with Anderson N-111 cam.
Here's a video of my good friend Travis's N/A 347" stock block LX. He
just got the car up and running earlier this year and is starting to get it
figured out. It has AFR 185 heads with a little port work, Anderson N-111
cam, and a Vic.Jr intake. I dont know the carb size but I dont think it's
much more than a 650cfm. Trans is a Face plated TKO-600 and the car has a
4.56 rear gear. He was running on a 28x10 e.t. drag but they were wore
out so even a 4500rpm launch rpm would still blow them off. This was a
10.8@129 pass with a 1.7x 60' time. Car weight is right around 2950lbs
with driver. It'll go 10.40's with a new tire.
