BURNOUT MASTERS Series 2014 - Round 2 Brashernats, New South Wales
WHERE TYRES FEAR TO TREAD. The second round of the 2014 Summernats Burnout
Masters Series, and first ever television broadcast of a show dedicated
entirely to the sport of burnouts! In the lead up to the 28th Summernats in
Canberra Jan 1-4, 2015 the hunt is on to find the ultimate Burnout Master.
But to do that, there's now a series of playoffs all over Australia. Round
2 saw the smoke fest kick off at Sydney Dragway in New South Wales on June
8. The Top 30 drivers sacrificed rubber, reputation and engines to pick up
one of three golden tickets that will automatically quailify them into the
Summernats 28 Liqui-Moly BURNOUT MASTERS, January 1st - 4th 2015. This is
one high octane adrenaline charge you don't want to miss!

BEST BURNOUT EVER! SUMMERNATS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BURNOUT!
Summernats 26 broke a Guinness World Record for the most amount of cars in
simultaneous burnout on January 4, 2013 in Canberra, Australia. When the
massive blanket of smoke eventually cleared, Chris Sheedy from Guinness
World Records told the 10,000 plus crowd that exactly 69 cars had managed
to complete a 30 second burnout. Sixty nine. That's a 'Nats kind of number.
Drivers came from all across Australia to fry their tyres together in this
historic event, some traveling thousands of kilometres from Western
Australian and Northern Queensland to take part in the rare feat.
138 tyres x 30 seconds x over 35,000 horsepower = 1 world record.
Thank you to the drivers, staff and sponsors for making this incredible
The Burnout World Record, supporting the National Tobacco Campaign's MyQuit
Buddy QUIT SMOKING APP. Burn rubber, not tobacco.
Summernats 25 - Day Two
The first real day at Summernats 25 and while it's mostly a set up day
there was plenty of action in and around. The entry list is looking full
with at least 1380 pre-entries and today was much busier than this time
last year. enjoy the video guys, I'm going to bed.
Summernats 26 - Day Two
Day two at Summernats didn't really kick off until midday with the Shannons
City Cruise down Northbourne where a good selection of cars cruised in
front of 30,000 people they reckon. Then the cruising fired up along with
judging and more scrutineering. Unfortunately the EPA knocked the schedule
around so we missed out on the burnouts, if there was any to be had. We
didn't hear or see any, but we saw plenty of tough rides. Tomorrow is going
to go off with burnouts, cruising, go-to-whoa, show 'n' shine, Dyno, the unveiling, Hilltop
Hoods and that Guinness World Record Attempt..
Summernats 26 - Day Three
Friday at Summernats 26 started with a bang. First up there was the
Guinness World Record for Largest Simultaneous Burnout with 69 cars on the
pad at the same time, then it was into burnout qualifying with a massive
amount of action there. All the while there was constant cruising, show car
judging and Dyno
(which we'll try and get to today) and then it was time for the unveiling
in the Meguairs Pavilion and the Hilltop Hoods on the main stage - and I've
got to say it was the first time I'd heard them, but they were AWESOME!
Can't wait until Saturday.
BLOWN is Summernats 26 Burnout Champion
After debuting (and setting fire to) his new ride at Springnats 2012, Mark
Schwirse has scored the win of his burnout career with the top prize at
Summernats 26 in the Liqui Moly Summernats Burnout Championship. Naturally
he scores a slot in next years Burnout Masters and the respect of all
burnout loving aussies. Well done dude.
BLOWNQ - Blown 'n' Injected Monaro
Andrew Damien's Monaro was a tidy unit before. It was white with a blown,
carbied small block. But he's gone all out with the latest rebuild, which
has seen the aussie classic copping a cage, tubs, and a 410 cube meth
injected Chevy. He doesn't mind whipping it around the pad either.
