How to lap valves on a 1995 Eclipse Talon 420a head (non-turbo)
When my 1995 eclipse timing belt broke I knew that there was a 99% chance that the valves were bent in the process. I searched the internet for a good way to replace them, without having much luck. I figured I would try and come up with something myself, I figured I would document the whole process of valve lapping by video...hope this helps you if you are in the same bind as I was!!!
1999 Eclipse GS Turbo 420a with 19" Wheels
THIS CAR WAS SOLD OVER 7 YEARS AGO. IT IS NOT MY CAR ANYMORE..and for all the kiddos out there talking shit about going turbo in the 420a , I also have a 12 second Talon TSi AWD so shut the fuck up about the 420a...this car beat a lot of 4g63t in its days! 1999 GS lowered 1.5" with 19" Wheels and a turboNitrous 420a Chrysler Engine.

My 97 Eclipse RS that i have been working on. the noise was from the throwout bearing in the tranny. spectre intake system, polished heat shield, glowshift tachometer. old video, im making a new one soon.
420a DSM-ZERO 661hp & 463tq at 30psi NEW WORLD RECORD!!
661 @ 7600 rpm did not push it that hard on the Dyno saving the rest for the track. GT40r 67mm inducer precision turbo, All we did was make a nice fuel map and add Boost. There still alot let in the car we can strech the afr and advance timmig and fine tune the cams also. 10psi 302hp, 20psi 463hp, 30psi 661hp, this was only the 5th pull of the day also lol
