Charlie Allen's FX Car: The Atlantic Dodge Flyer
Willard, Rick and myself were honored to do this show with this famous
Factory Experimental Drag 1964 Dodge Coronet. The Charlie Allen Atlantic
Dodge Flyer. WOW! I orginally did a painting of this car for the owner
(video of me doing the painting can be found on this site). When I told the
boys I knew where this car was they "freaked" and now it is history. Hope
you enjoy it because it is a peice of history, this was the beginning of

Lions Drag Strip incredible Grand Premier accidents 1972
Season opening Grand Premier at Lions Drag Strip in Janaury 1972 marked the
return of NHRA sanction to the world famous Wilmington/Long Beach, CA
racetrack. Incredible clip is from Part 1 (of 3 part) video documentary
"Lions - The Greatest Drag Strip", and shows the unusual amount of
accidents that took place, thanks to veteran lensman Paul Sadler and Dave
Kerr. Lions would close after its 17-year run just eleven months later.

Real Barn Find 1965 Mustang Fastback A/FX Gasser Viral
I put the word viral to gain views,,,,HEAR THE CAR RUN @ 2:40 This x drag
race car was snug for 32 years in the basement of a farm house outside of
Albany. A close friend and track official at Lebanon Valley dragstrip told
me about this car at the end of the 2011 season. So I went to see it. I
bought it instantly. I have been slowly making the car useable since I
bought it. The body and frame of the car have never seen the salt and it
has been a race car since it was new. The rear tubbing and body
work/engineering for the front leaf springs were all done in the 60's. It
saw heavy track time from 1967-77 but has been sitting un-raced since. I
would love to know the actual mileage on this car, i'm sure it would be low
and in increments of 1/4 mile :)
