LINGENFELTER SUPERCHARGED 2008 Pontiac G8 with NITROUS - DYNO PULL!!
Daniel Linnett's 2008 Pontiac G8 GT Dyno tuning at East Texas Muscle Cars. Attempting to get optimum Boost with adequate fuel. Even after changing the fuel pump, the car was still loosing pressure at full Boost near 6k RPMs. Never was able to spray Nitrous and tune accordingly. With spray, car should easily produce over 600RWHP. Car has Magnacharger MP1900 TVS, Roto Fab CAI, full length Exhaust, long tube headers/Corsa mufflers, stall converter, tune, aftermarket fuel delivery system and 75 shot. 2005 GTO (4 speed auto) vs 2008 G8 GT (6 speed auto) both car's have the same mods except the GTO has 4" magapack mufflers and the G8 has GXP mufflers. We did a 70 to 160 run. Trail car is an 06 Trailblazer SS with a Hero 2 GoPro.

Recently purchased a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with 8,900 miles. Car was immaculate, so began staging for a full bolt-ons build-up that would increase HP gains, but wouldn't void the manufacturer's warranty. Parts used were American Racing long tube headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, Rotofab CAI, Powerbond underdrive pulley, throttle body port & polish and East Texas Muscle Cars custom Dyno tune. A stock Dyno pull was performed, producing 302RWHP. After all upgrades were complete, the final Dyno pull produced 371RWHP and 387RWTQ. John DeLorean replaced Pete Estes as general manager, and he continued the same emphasis on performance that Bunkie Knudsen and Estes had begun. The big news for 1964 For 1964, the Tempest and LeMans' transaxle design was dropped and the cars were redesigned under GM's new A body platform; frame cars with a conventional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The most important of these is the GTO, short for "Gran Turismo Omologato," the Italian for "Grand Touring, Homologated" used by Ferrari as a badge to announce a car's official qualification for racing. In spite of a GM unwritten edict against engines larger than 330 ci in intermediate cars, DeLorean (with support from Jim Wangers from Pontiac's ad agency), came up with the idea to offer the GTO as a dealer option package that included a 389 ci engine rated at 325 or 348 horsepower (260 kW).
