This 1967 Mustang Coupe is
painted a striking Dark Metallic Blue with a very nice finish. Interior is
all black. Body is very straight and underside looks excellent with very
clean rust free floorpans and underbody. This car has a plethora of go fast
goodies. The Ford small block engine is rebuilt (13,000 miles ago) with a
CHP 306 Street Fighter stroker kit. It has Edelbrock aluminum heads (EDL
6025) with 202/160 valves. An Edelbrock Cam (EDL 7122) 496/520 lift, and an
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold (EDL 7121). All this is topped of
with a Demon 4bbl double squirter 650 cfm carburator. The dual Exhaust starts with full length headers
(Hedman), and finishes with Dynomax Race magnum mufflers to
give the engine a nice rumble. The transmission is a rebuilt C4 custom
transmission by Brandon Transmission in Florida, it has a nice shift kit,
operated via a Hurst V-Matic2 shifter, and a TCI torque converter with a
2800 rpm stall speed. Rear end is a Ford 9" with posi-traction and a 3.50
gear ratio. Ignition has been converted over to a DUI distributor from the
original points distributor.
This Mustang has a front
disc brake conversion with 4 piston calipers from Stainless Steel Brakes
Corporation. It is a factory A/C car with a hi performance aluminum rotary
compressor, and 4 core radiator, and a 6 blade flex fan. Tires on the car
look fairly new but have some curb rash on the white letters. Suspension
components were all replaced recently at Mid-cities Mustang. All mechanical systems on
the car appear to be in good or excellent condition.

big 4.6L V8 Cobra motor that puts out over 300hp factory. The 5-Speed
manual transmission makes this car a blast to drive. I like the body kit
that they put on these Cobras factory. It also has a nice set of
Aftermarket Racing Wheels on it that look really good on it. All of the
suspension has been redone and upgraded to give it a better ride and it
handles better and corners like a dream. The paint is in excellent
condition and the body is straight as can be. Under the hood is just
immaculate and I love this motor with the huge headers and stuff that they
put in these. The tan leather interior is clean as can be and is in great
shape. The car runs great and has a lof of power and you really have to be
careful not to get yourself in trouble in this car. This car is for sale
and I will make you a really good deal on it.

The Ford Mustang SVT Cobra
was a pony car built by Ford Motor Company through the Special Vehicle Team
division. It is a high-performance version of the Mustang built by Ford, sitting in the
model range above the Mustang GT model. On three occasions,
Ford also produced an even higher performance Cobra R variant. Although the
Shelby GT500 Mustang is
built in part by SVT, and bears the Cobra badge, it is not considered an
SVT Cobra, as it is licensed by Shelby and doesn't have Cobra anywhere in
its description or name.
For 1996, Ford finally did away with the aging 5.0 liter V8 in the Mustang, replacing it with a new
aluminum 4.6 liter, DOHC, "modular" unit that was smoother and had slightly
better fuel economy. This engine produced 305 hp (227 kW) and 300 lbf·ft
(410 N·m) of torque, making the new Cobra capable of 0-60 in 5.5 and a
13.9 second quarter miles. Early models were backed by the Borg Warner T-45
5-speed manual transmission. Late in 1998, Tremec bought production rights
for the T-45, although it remained unchanged in terms of strength.
