Junkyard: VW Karmann Ghia, Beetles, Type 3 Wagons, and MORE!
This looks to be a mechanic's private wrecking yard. Mostly classic Volkswagens, but there're some other interesting cars as well. Namely, a black Honda Beat and a Mazda/Eunos Miata/Roadster/MX-5. I see rusting collections like this a lot. The impression I've gathered over the years as to why this type of this is relatively common, is the number of single-workshops that specialize in a particular model or maker. It really does make for some interesting discoveries. WasabiCars stickers: $5USD each. FREE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. 1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible for Sale
Visit http://www.leftcoastclassics.com/1969-karmann-ghia-convertible/ to see this classic 1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. Listen to the nie sound of this classic Ghia that has been stored inside a family warehouse since 1987! Prior to entering it's 26 year rest it had been repainted and a new top was installed. I believe that the 93k miles showing are likely correct yet cannot be sure. All mechanical systems recently gone through to make the car a reliable, long-distance or daily driver. New tires also installed. Strong compression, excellent shifting and acceleration; brakes, steering all in full working order. Original equipment in correct working order including the clock. Original Sapphire X radio does not turn on but we will see if this can be remedied prior to sale. Original white interior was discolored after 45 years so we replaced the front and rear seat covers and door panels. Carpet is original. This is a good driver-quality, mostly original California car with plenty of appeal and room to improve if someone so desires. Or just enjoy exactly as-is.
