1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4
Update: This was a for sale video, for those that don't care to read the
rest of the description, I made this video so people could see the car
shifted in and out all the gears at various rpm's with no grinding, that it
went down the road well, and had good oil pressure as well. Oh and the car
This is a video I took driving my VR4 so I could show it drove fine.
Its mainly stock, but has lots of new parts and some performance parts
added. Its got a new transmission, new TC, new clutch, Eibach lowering
springs, 3sx downpipe, gutted pre-cats, Hallman pro Manual Boost controller, K&N FIPK, Custom 3 inch
single exit Exhaust, 5zigen rims,
Autometer oil and Boost gauges.
The whole car completely stripped to a bare shell and all removable body
panels were taken off and the car was repainted.

For this video, I hop in my friend Tyler's Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and give
you my first impressions. We have been trying to do this video for awhile
now, so I was very antsy to get behind the wheel of this all wheel drive
blast of a car. Nothing like too good ol' feeling of 90's nostalgia. Thanks

It originally had a tan interior which I find pretty revolting. I have
about 80% of all the pieces in black, but now I am lacking all the old
scews. Since the last time I had worked on this project was back in 2006.
Car has roughly 106k on it and it runs great. I need to get the ecu
remapped or buy a standalone system.
I was thinking about doing a right hand drive conversion on the car, but I

Last VR4 ever built - 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Twin Turbo
1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 in Pearl White with Tan Leather interior. This
is the last VR4 ever built. It has 55K miles on it. It is having its 60K
mile service. This is the first of a series of videos that will explain the
proper procedures for servicing the vehicle and what all is involved. It
will take a minimum of 21 hours to complete the required services. It will
cost anywhere from $1200 to $2000 for all the OEM parts required. These are
interference motors and there is no room for cost cutting or failing to
follow the service manual precisely. I hope the upcoming videos will help
others planning to do this service themselves or are interested in what is
required and the associated costs. These were very expensive cars when they
were introduced. Their service requirements are equally financially
challenging. So, do not buy one of these cars unless you are prepared to do
the same amount of work that is about to be revealed.
