Cutting the roof off a car (Datsun B210) to make a converted (not convertible)
A bunch of guys decide to do something a bit different this day in June 1990, while at Central Michigan University (CMU) for a graduation party. They decide to chop the roof off of a Datsun B210 that was bought for just $125. It is quite funny, so take a look. This is how to make a convertable car. It is amazing how much structural support is provided by having an intact roof on a car. Driving this was dangerous, and it should not be done at home.

With everthing stock except the replaced engine with a C20/1171cc engine which almost feature everything in identical A12/1171cc OHV,1.2L,8V,4speed gears, except just it come with a automatic choke and i upgraded spark plug cable with 8mm type.

L16 SSS bored out to fit 280ZX flat top pistons (now1800cc)

Drivetrain:
510 SSS gearbox and diff
Custom tailshaft
Suspension:
Front - 510 SSS McPherson struts with KYB Excel-G shocks
Rear - 510 SSS Independant rear suspension with Seat Ibiza McPherson struts
Exhaust:
Extractores
then into 60mm pipe, then divide into two 30mm pipes from half way (all stainless)then into 2 stainless high-flow mufllers
Brakes:
Stock 510 SSS brakes (for now)
Stainless braided hoses
Clutch
Ceramic clutch disc

Modified various places to acomadate
Battrey now lives in the boot
Spare wheel well cut out replaced with new floor
Some rust work
New chrome bumpers
Every screw, nut, washer and bolt nickel plated
Stripped back to bare metal, etch primer, polyester coat, colour matched high fill primer then sprayed with 2-pack straight orange.

Compomotive 15 inch Minilites, 7 inch front and 8.5 inch rear
Interioir: Reupholstered

Datsun B210 running absolutely perfect.
I finally got this thing running perfect. It idles at the right rpm, and doesnt miss and doesnt require any choke anymore.
