This video was taken after my protune wheel hp 295 and 309 lbs torque : ) I actually accelerate to about 75mph before letting off the gas ! I also launched at only 3500rpm.





2014 Subaru WRX STI - Full Review and Test Drive - My New Car!
The 2014 Subaru WRX STI hatchback, the last model year which still provides the 5-door option. This is my first new car! In this video we'll check out the 2.5L turbo boxer engine, matched to a six speed transmission sending power to all four wheels via Subaru Symmetrical AWD, with front and rear limited slip differentials, and a driver controlled center differential (DCCD). This car also features Subaru's SI-Drive, allowing for various throttle responses for the driver. The vehicle features the EJ257 engine producing 305 HP at 6000 RPM and 290 lb-ft of torque at 4000 RPM. This is my new car!! I will keep the Integra which will remain a project car, while this has become my daily driver. 08 STI vs 09 WRX
Another old video that I just found. A quick comparison of my wife's stock 09 WRX versus my 08 STI when it was running Cobb's Stage 2 91 map, with 94 octane in the tank. Runs were done on the same day, same temps, same sections of road. The 09 WRX is very impressive. If you watch the video closely you can see how the stage 2 map on my STI has abrupt pauses in acceleration with each gear change, whereas the WRX pulls smoothly. My car was definitely faster but the gear changes sort of evened things out. There is something in the stage 2 91 OTS tune that causes this - not sure if it is ignition overrun or what but my more recent tunes have smoothed this out.
