2011 GONE Meet - Trip to the Track

My Pontiac G8 GT at Cordova Dragway. Runs were made during National G8 meet September 2011. Mods are Volant intake, Vector Motorsports stage 1.5 cam and tune, Kooks headers w/catted midpipe system to stock axleback mufflers. Last run was personal best 12.95 at 109.8 mph on the last run. This was with street tires 285-35-19 Nitto Invo, so not great traction, best 60ft is over 2 seconds. Drag tires should help with that, hopefully. www.G8GONE.com

Pro Flow Fabrications VZ ute runs 12.64@108mph & 12.55@109mph
VZ ute turbocharged Alloytec first outing at Calder Park. This pass the car ran a 12.64@108mph. The next pass the ute ran 12.55@109mph. The ute is a stock, high km Alloytec V6 with the Pro Flow Fabrications turbo kit and also a ViPec V88 ECU on 8psi.

http://www.youcar.tv The 392-cubic inch (6.4-liter) HEMI® V-8 delivers 470 horsepower (351 kW) and 470 (637 N•m) lb.-ft. of torque. The torque band is extremely flat allowing for strong standing starts and improved straight-line performance throughout the rpm range. An advanced active intake manifold along with high-lift cam with phasing provides maximum low-end torque and high-end power while still delivering up to 23 miles per gallon on the highway with the standard manual transmission. Performance-tuned engine mounts improve idle stability and ride control at all speeds.
