Cadillac CTS: Interior and Exterior Lights
Designers put a lot of thought into every aspect of a car, inlcuding the
lighting. With new technological advances and creative-thinking from the
CTS design team, the 2008 Cadillac CTS has one of the most innovative
lighting systems around. At a recent Cadillac Press Event, automotive
journalists were given an inside look at the CTS' lighting system. Kevin
Smith, Cadillac Communication Director, John Howell, Cadillac Product
Director and John Manoogian, Lead Exterior Designer were on-hand to explain
the importance of great lighting.

2008 Cadillac CTS4 3.6DI. Has about 2500 miles on it. Will probably do
better when it is more broken in. Had the traction control off, like that
helped at all. Had it in Sport Mode, the A/C was on, and a full tank of 87
octane. Overall, I really like the sounds it makes.

Let's be honest, it has been quite some time since Cadillac has been "the
Cadillac" of anything. With the 2014 CTS V-Sport, Cadillac is aiming to
turn the clock back to Cadillac's heyday. The 2014 V-Sport isn't the value
option in the segment and it isn't even the cheapest option when you really
think about it. Instead Cadillac has done something that many detractors
thought impossible for an American brand: they quite simply made the better
sedan. The 2014 V-Sport may bring a V6 to a V8 fight, but after a week with
Caddy's new sport sedan it was easy to pick the winner. Unless you're
looking to deck your BMW, Mercedes or Audi up with rare and expensive
options, the CTS does just about everything the Germans can only better.

2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport: Boosting Ahead of the Germans in Their Own Game! - Ignition Ep. 90
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago returns to the Hyundai Proving
Grounds to try out Cadillac's new, twin-turbo CTS Vsport, which might be one of the
automaker's best products yet. With a low curb weight and a Boosted 3.6-liter V-6 producing around 420 hp
and 430 lb-ft of torque, will this Cadillac send the German engineers back

2014 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Test Drive & High-Performance Luxury Car Video Review
The first generation Cadillac CTS-V debuted back in 2004 and came with an
engine out of a C5 generation Corvette. This CTS-V flew under the radar for
a few years until the release of the second generation car back in 2009.
This model turned the automotive world on its side thanks to a
fire-breathing supercharged V-8 motor that made 556 horsepower and set a factory
production sedan lap record at the Nürburgring ring. Then in 2011 we got

Cadillac does a great job of distinguishing their V-Series cars and the
CTS-V has a handful of cues that tell the eagle-eyed enthusiast this car
means business. First thing you notice is the shiny mesh, aggressive lower
front fascia, massive black rims, and red Brembo brake calipers. The coupe
itself is a cool looking car with the angular shape and metallic paint job.
Out back the CTS-V sports an integrated rear wing and a trick center mount
Under the hood is where the magic happens. The 2014 Cadillac CTS-V is
powered by an LSA engine taken from a Corvette ZR-1. This Supercharged 6.2
Liter V-8 makes a whopping 556 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of
torque. The power is sent through a 6-speed transmission (auto or manual)
to the rear wheels. This luxury coupe looks good, sounds good, feels good,
and most importantly goes like a bat out of hell. The interior is very
driver focused. The model tested here is outfitted with the $3400 Recaro
performance seating package. An Alcantara treatment is given to the
steering wheel and shift knob.
The real thrill of any V-Series Cadillac is driving it. The CTS-V offers
you a great driving position with an unobstructed view of the road. More
importantly though is the great engine and gearbox sending that power to
the rear wheels which means fun. The ride is perfect thanks to the
Magnetic-Controlled shocks that are usually found on high priced exotics.
Now this may be the swan song for the Cadillac CTS-V coupe edition and if
so we will always smile about how it lived.
