Rebuild the complete car for him when he returned. Its was a fun project to do for him. Thanks to all that helped and the online help from Pelican Parts, VW Vortex and MIVE!

Chip Foose 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback Gambler 514 - Overhaulin
1970 Ford Mustang Fastback designed by Chip Foose on the TV show Overhaulin, at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. Built by the super team of Jeff George, Phil Brewer Jr., Jimmy Kerlin, Bobby Mikus, Gregg Bond, Bill Cate, Kevin Byrd, Greg Coleman, Carl Richmond, Bryan Fuller, Revo, Zach Merril, and Chip Foose! Nicknamed "Gambler 514" because of the custom paint color Chip called "Gambler Green" as a nod to being in Vegas, and the 514 CID engine sitting under the hood. The 514 is the heart of this Mustang, pushing out 625 horsepower. It has Eagle H beam connecting rods, 9.8:1 compression, a sturdy 460 block, stroker crank, Ford Racing forged aluminum pistons, roller camshaft, Super Cobra Jet aluminum cylinder heads, 1.73 roller rockers, March serpentine belt system, 2.25" headers running to 3" Magnaflow Exhaust, MSD 6AL system, and much more! Art Carr C6 automatic transmission, Vintage Air AC system, Total Control Performance rack and pinion, and a Griffin 3 core aluminum radiator with electric fans. The chassis has Unique Performance front coil overs, QA1 front shocks and coils with 12 way adjustable valves, Baer brakes all around, tubular upper and lower control arms, TCP sub frame kit, TCP shock tower braces, UP rear coil over springs and QA1 adjustable shocks, and Chip Foose designed wheels. There are three sets of wheels like this in the world. One other set is on Chip's personal 69 Camaro. The body mods include shaved door handles, shaved rear view mirrors, custom Boss 429 hood scoop, custom made bumpers, custom color paint, sequential tail lights, and remote doors and trunk. The interior has Cobra seats, custom made center console, Flaming River tilt column, custom steering wheel, custom door panels, Clarion deck with satellite/CD/MP3/DVD/DVDR/etc., Tsunami capacitor, Kicker speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers, custom JME/Autometer white face ultra luminescent gauges, and much more!

MacLeod's description:
Genre: Blues
Length: 3:15
Instruments: Guitar, Bass, Kit, Organ, EP
Tempo: 90
With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from Memphis' Beale Street. The Hammond organ and electric guitar play together as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to electric piano. 011

We see it every Friday during our evening commute. A stream of vehicles choking the freeway, headed out to the Mojave Desert or the Colorado River for some well-earned weekend stress relief.
The fun varies, from camping to dirt-bike riding to water-skiing. But the vehicle that invariably gets tasked with hauling the corresponding equipment is a full-size pickup truck. You know, like the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, 2009 Ford F-150 or 2009 Toyota Tundra.
Sure, we talk about the virtues of the minivan as a family hauler, and there are many. But the minivan stands no chance against a looming 25-foot camping trailer. And SUVs are easily flummoxed by motocross bikes and the need to carry their smelly gas cans (or anything that's remotely dirty, actually) in the vehicle's cargo area.
There's nothing like a pickup, with its big bin in back that doesn't care what you toss into it. And the truck is sure to be around long after the full-frame SUV falls completely out of favor and descends into the three-row car-based sensibility that is the crossover.
