Blacked Out Emblems with Plasti Dip
This product is awesome. It's not permanent, so you can mess up as much as
you want. It's easy to apply. It's easy to remove. Try it on anything, if
you don't like it just peel it off.
I blacked out my emblems on my Nissan 370z. It looks really good if you
want the "blacked out" look.
Keep in mind that I was filming this with one hand and using my other hand
to peel off the Plasti Dip, so I apologize for all the grunting and stuff.
Common Answer #1: You will need approximately 3 cans to spray all four
wheels using 4 coats on each wheel.
Common Answer #2: You can buy Plasti Dip at Home Depot, Lowes, and OSH.
Common Answer #3: Yes, it's safe to drive through the car wash and pressure
wash over the Plasti Dip, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Common Answer #4: It's not necessary to spray the inner wheel wells. I just
sprayed the face of the wheel.
Common Answer #5: The newspaper masking was to prevent over spray and makes
cleaning up easier and quicker.
