400 Pontiac

Freebie motor I just picked up this weekend! 69 Pontiac 400. Ran but overheated. Timing cover is junk and water pump rusted solid. It has the wrong intake but, Hopefully I can build her. My wife really wants a 67 GTO and I am going get her one if I have to put it together one part at a time!

OUTLAW DERBY CAR LEAF SPRING SWAP
Leaf spring conversion in half a day. Modified leaf springs from S10 Blazer. Added 3 leafs. U-bolts from newer F-150. Reaf axle from 72 Deville. Used once in said Deville with stock Blazer springs. Ran once because car was banned. Ran latter with coils. I still have to box rear frame rails. And add 1/2 angle for "crossmember" . Only rule is no homemade bumpers. But I don't see anything about "crossmembers"
