Just got it running with a newly ported head, tri flo cams and header. First time out, lots of tuning and playing, couldn't build Boost at the line. Ran a 15.7@90mph, 18 psi.

These vehicles fulfill a need and even if they are not the prettiest thing to look at, they do meet the needs of millions of families. Over the past few years though, there has been a resurgence in the minivan category and the new vehicles hitting the road are packed with as much convenience and technology as many luxury cars. The Chrysler Town & Country is one such automobile. The base price on a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country is just over $30k, but you can easily spec one out to $45k by adding all the bells and whistles. Still, these represent a great value and meet the needs of those who have to transport a family.
Owning a minivan (especially for a younger person) used to be a scary thought. Now though, times have changed. The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country is about more than hauling family around. The minivan has become today's modern utility vehicles. On the outside, Chrysler recognizable design features like the front grill are evident. Along the side there are various chrome elements. Though there is not a lot of form there is a ton of function. Just using the key fob you can open and close the 2 sliding doors and the rear hatch.
Under the hood of the 2013 Chrysler Town & Country is a 3.6 liter V-6 engine that is capable of making 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 17 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway.
On the inside of the Town & Country there is a whole lot going on just as you would expect. There is rear seat entertainment with flip down video screens, climate control, and comfortable captain's chairs in the second row. The 3rd row of seats can be stowed flat with the touch of a button which gives you tons of cargo space. The driver also enjoys a ton of features including comfortable seats, navigation screen, blind sport monitoring, and more.
The 2013 Chrysler Town & Country is an adequate minivan for the segment. But at the $43k as test price this automobile should be a bit more refined. There are some great features, but there are other auto manufacturers looking to get a piece of the pie. That said, the Town & Country is still one of the best vehicles on the planet to transport people.

Well simply it's because it's nice range of abundant luxury features and it's classic minivan styling has kept customers buying. One gripe I do have about this minivan is it's a little on the pricey side, but if your budget minded then the Grand Caravan should suit you well as the Town and Country is typically for people who want a Luxury Minivan. The stow N Go system is also a special unique thing about this minivan. All in all great minivan from Chrysler.
