Pontiac Lemans Wagon that is like a muscle car and sports car all in one.
It has the looks of a sporty car but is also a wagon that you can haul the
whole family around in. As you can see the paint is a little faded but the
body is straight and clean. I like the front end on these. All of the
chrome is in good condition and has a nice shine to it. I really like the
factory wheels that they put on these. Really gives the car a unique look.
This car has the 5.0L 305 in it and is a good runner. It has been sitting
awhile so does run a little rough but nothing a tune up can't fix. The
interior is clean and well maintained. You will be hard pressed to find a
cleaner car like this.

In 1978, the Le Mans and other GM mid-sized cars were considerably
downsized and lost some 600-800 lb in the process, as part of GM's
corporate downsizing program following the aftermath of the Arab Oil
Embargo induced energy crisis of 1973 - 1974. Pontiac's engines were also
downsized, with the standard engine being the Buick 3.8L 231ci V6, Pontiac
265ci V8, or optional Pontiac 4.9L 301ci V8 for 1978, (a Chevy 305ci V8 in
California). 1978 also saw Pontiac's 350ci & 400ci engine production shut
down after many years of service as its hallmark V8's. A limited production
run of 400ci engines was made, but were only available in 1978 and 1979
Trans Ams equipped with the 4-speed manual transmission. From 1978 to 1980,
Pontiac's mid-sized lineup included the base Le Mans, Grand Le Mans, and a
revived Grand Am; all available as a Coupe, Sedan, or Wagon. Although the
new Grand Am was better suited in size and concept than the original
1973--1975 Grand Am as a European-styled touring coupe/sedan, it was not a
tremendous seller. In 1980, the Grand Am was only offered as a coupe. With
lacking sales, the "Grand Am" nameplate was again discontinued until 1985,
when it was reborn as Pontiac's new compact car, a form the Grand Am would
take for the next two decades, until being replaced by the Pontiac G6 in

Pontiac 350 - 350 Horsepower For Less Than $500.00
A short video describing the modifications done to the 65,000 original mile
Pontiac 350 engine in my 1975 Formula. Using heads, cam, pushrods, rocker
arms and an intake that I had laying around, this Pontiac 350 developed 353
horsepower and 385
lbs/ft of Torque, for less than $500.00 invested.
1963 Pontiac LeMans Rare 4 Cylinder Four Barrel Four-speed 3.73 Posi - Half of a 389 V8
I thought you might like a look at this very unique 1963 Pontiac LeMans.
It's powered by a 194.5 Cubic Inch 45 Degree Four Cylinder, topped with a 4
BBL Carb, and running through dual Exhaust. Pontiac, basically cut a 389 V8 in
half...in fact, it uses the same head as the 389 and the 421. In this case,
the four cylinder is backed by a four-speed manual and a set of 3.73 Gears
with Posi. As you can see, it really is a great looking car and would look
right at home on the dragstrip in the 1960's. I hope you find it

Rare 1977 Pontiac Lemans Can Am - 6.6V8 Muscle Car
I thought you might like a look at this very rare 77 Pontiac Lemans Can Am.
Originally, Pontiac had planned to build nearly 5,000 of these cars, but
they ran into some problems with the mold that was used to make the
ducktail spoilers. Instead of fixing the issue, they decided to call a halt
to production. In the end, only 1377 Can Am's were built. They were packing
a 6.6L 400 cu in V8, a Heavy Duty TH400 trans, and the RTS Rally Suspension
Package. The horsepower wasn't amazing
due to the low compression used at this point, but for the late 70's it was
about as good as you could get. They are exceedingly rare and highly

We fell in love with this wagon the first time is set tires in our
workshop. On top of it being a wagon, it's a 6 speed manual trans!
In the D3 Battle Wagon, even trips to the grocery store are all the more
fun with 715 HP and 725 ft-lb's of Torque!
The build concept for the D3 Battle Wagon was to completely upgrade all OEM
components with the most aggressive bolt on parts possible. The result is
an ultra fun, track worthy station wagon!

Wagon dubbed "The Battle Wagon" has been completed for delivery to its
eagerly awaiting driver.
"CTS-V wagons are a still a rarity, on top of that finding a white 6 speed
manual was like trying to locate Atlantis!" Says John B. the owner of the
Battle Wagon. "The second I heard that Cadillac was going to launch the
CTS-V in wagon form I knew it would be my next car, I have always loved
wagons, from the E39 5 series to the Audi S4 Wagon now to the Cadillac
CTS-V Wagon. With less than 500 miles on the clock the wagon was booked
for an appointment at the D3 Motorsport Laboratory which is D3's in house
The tuning concept of The D3 Battle Wagon is to encompass manageable
amounts of horsepower, allowing for a
balanced, but track worthy grocery getter. To complete the Wagon the
Motorsport Laboratory has broken the build into 3 categories; Performance,
Efficiency & Chassis Tuning.
A wide range of Performance Tuning Equipment manufactured by D3 has been
utilized to upgrade the performance characteristics of the Cadillac CTS-V's
LSA power plant. The Pulley System has been upgraded via the D3 Stage 3
Performance Pulley Kit allowing for a mind numbing 17 PSI of Boost out of the factory Eaton 1.9L Blower
that has been Blueprinted to D3's specifications. To feed this Boost monster the D3 Air Intake, D3 Billet
Throttle Body and D3 Supercharger Lid
Spacer have been installed. Exhaust
work has been provided by the Kooks Long Tube Headers, Kooks X-Pipe with
Race Catalytic Converts and the CORSA touring mufflers. These upgrades
have yielded a raw horsepower gain of 244 wheel
To keep the D3 Battle Wagon ready for action all of its cooling has been
upgraded via the gamut of D3|ULTRACOOLERS. The ULTRACOOLER systems include
the D3 Front Mount Heat Exchanger (Intercooler) the D3 Competition Oil
Cooler, and the D3 Competition Radiator. The chassis has been dialed in
via the D3 suspension suite including: The D3 Competition Lowering
Springs, the D3 Competition Sway Bar Kit, D3 Chassis Bracing, D3 Stainless
Steel Brake Lines and Alcon 2pc Competition Rotors.

CTS-V, and the best part is that it's a wagon!"
