Sehr Performance Machine / Ryan's 350 Pontiac
Ryan dropped off his 350 Pontiac long block along with a set of 400 Pontiac Ram Air cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake and his Holley carb. He wanted us to put it together for his '69 Firebird. His engine came to us with blow-by issues from a broken piston. First off the cylinders had to be relieved to clear the valves on the Ram Air heads. The heads were milled to reduce chamber size and valve to block clearance was checked one more time. All of his parts were inspected and magnafluxed to be sure we were starting off with serviceable parts and the clearances were brought back to low side of factory tolerances, a new custom COMP cam and a distributor curve kit were added along with some other touches, the engine was painted Pontiac Blue and bolted to our Dyno. Ryan is very happy with the end results and is looking forward to getting it back in his car and having some fun with it.
