Golf R32 turbo powered by Exelixis Motorsport
Yet another Exelixis Motorsport extreme project is loose on the streets.
Maybe it doesn’t look that much for the untrained eye but we like it like
For some people a Golf Mk4 R32 is nothing more than an old car that said
his piece and now is resting in the history of the Golf models.
This was not the case for the owner of this R32 who decided to prove a
point by trusting us to make something unique but keeping the original
looks and the daily driver capability.
Of course the only solution to pump-up the engine with some real power was
to convert it to turbo.
Therefore we started to develop our own recipe for this conversion in which
we included among other things: JE custom pistons ceramic coated, Carrillo
rods, CatCams custom camshafts, Precision 6766 turbo, 2 x Tial 38mm wastegates, 1000cc injectors,
2 x Walbro 255 fuel pumps, Tilton carbon tri-disc clutch kit.
As expected also the original ECU of the car needed to be changed whith
something more capable of taking care of the tasks assigned to it , so we
chose a Syvecs stand-alone ECU that was programmed by ZOD Development and
it offers the driver the option to choose between several maps for
different power levels and different fuels (pump/race).
Considering the fact that a complete car doesn’t mean only a powerful
engine but also good handling and braking capability the car was fitted
with a full set of Powerflex bushes, a KW V2 coilover kit and a Forge
Motorsport front big brake kit (330mm).
To summarize the story of this project the final numbers are 720Hp and
772Nm on pump gas .
If you think this is just another project good for cover pictures and shows
you got another thing coming because this car has already been driven to
drag events and track days and this will keep happening.
Nissan GT-R EXL850R By Exelixis Motorsport (road test)

For the electronic management of the project we used a stand-alone system
Syvecs S8. The car its using 3 different software setups for different turbo pressure (1.2 bar, 1.4 bar, 1.8 bar)
plus some additional features such as: ALS, ALS rolling, traction control
with possibility of adjustment by the user and automatically log operating
parameters in cycles of 24 hours. The 3 custom software was provided as
before by Zod Development, traditional partner of Exelixis Motorsport.

stand-alone Syvecs S8. Masina beneficiaza de 3 softuri diferite (1,2bar,
1,4bar, 1,8bar) plus alte cateva functii aditionale cum ar fi: ALS, rolling
ALS, controlul tractiunii cu posibilitatea ajustarii de catre utilizator si
logarea automata a parametrilor de functionare in cicluri de 24 de ore.
Cele 3 softuri custom a fost furnizate ca si pana acum de catre ZOD
Development, partenerul traditional al Exelixis Motorsport pentru
resoftarea sistemelor tip stand-alone.

The race was held in Tulcea on 10-11 May 2014 on a temporary drag-strip
(airport), as you can see the VHT was applied only for half of the track.

Nissan GT-R EXL 850R by Exelixis Motorsport
EN:Nissan GTR R35 equipped with EXL850R kit is the most powerful
configuration that allows keeping engine stock. The basic components of the
configuration are: Exelixis turbine hybrid, 1050cc injectors, Greddy
suction pipe kit, Forge Motorsport BOV kit, Forge Motorsport Intercooler + piping kit, AMS 4bar MAP
sensor, Okada Plasma Direct coil, Walbro fuel pump x 2, Exelixis custom
downpipes. In addition we used: ceramic coating of intake manifold by
Zircotec, 94mm Greddy catback titanium Exhaust, Quaife front differential, front brake
discs and pads Ferodo DS2500 AP Racing. The gearbox has been strengthened
with parts provided by Pfitzner Performance Gearboxes and Dodson Motorsport
with oilcooler kit for box Forge Motorsport.
