2014 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X takes on the Ike Gauntlet Torture Towing Test
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) The 2014 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X is a mid-sized
pickup that is built to go off-road. But not today. Instead we are putting
it through the grueling Ike Gauntlet towing test. As configured the 2014
Nissan Frontier PRO-4X is capable of towing 6100 pounds so how will it
handle the 5740 pound TFL test boat up a mountain?
The Ike Gauntlet is a timed run up one of America's steepest highways from
9,000 feet above sea level to the top of the mountain at entrance to the
Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado.

Superchips vs Hypertech programmers on Nissan Frontier
Comparision test between a hypertech and a superchips cortex programmer on
my 2008 Frontier 2wd automatic.
The 87 octane tests were done in 40 degree weather about ten minutes apart
from each other.
The 93 octane tests were done in 55 degree weather about 15 minutes apart
from each other.
The superchips tests were done with the rev limiter raised (hypertech does
not have this feature). I also tested the superchips on 93 octane with the
timing advanced 2 and 3 degrees but the times were not as fast as they were
with the timing at 0.

Nissan Frontier 1/4 Mile, 0-60, 0-100
1/4 mile test using Bullydog Tripple gt. This was the best time I got out
of a few runs. Measuring a 1/4 mile with the vehicles odometer can only be
so accurate. I ran a 14.66 at the strip
