Chevy Silverado True Dual MagnaFlow Exhaust
One year ago, I replaced my factory Exhaust on my 2007 Chevy Silverado with a true dual Exhaust set up using two Magnaflow stainless steel performance 4" diameter 'straight through' mufflers with 14" bodies, a 20" overall length, and 2.5" piping in and out (part number 14416). I have not replaced the headers or the cats yet. In this video I test the sound level of the true dual MagnaFlow Exhaust when in motion and go over some other mods/updates that have occurred since a year ago. Also, check out my before and after comparison video of the Exhaust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eztDyv2gXLU If you have any questions about what I have done or products that I have used, feel free to ask in the comments below.

Common Problems With Chevy Silverado Trucks - Chevy Silverado 1500 Problems
Just a rundown of some common problems you may encounter with Chevy Silverado trucks. We are in Anchorage, Alaska and although we do not have the corrosion issues that some have in the rust belt we do have rough roads, extreme cold and hot conditions that cause certain component failure. These issues are common to my shop but may not be representative to your particular area. IM not here bashing GM's because im actually a chevy guy at heart, just trying to inform others about what to look for. If you have positive feedback please share in the comments below. This is a 1999 Silverado 1500 5.3L 4X4 that was brought in for a general inspection. The funny thing is the customer commented on how well it is driving since they recently purchased it apart from a noise in the front. After a quick inspection I noticed some very concerning problems that need to be addressed. Among them the RF hub and bearing is failing and the wheel is about to fall off, the rear brakes at shot, the front inner tie rod ends are loose, it's low on coolant, the front differential seals leak gear fluid and the LF Exhaust manifold is leaking and bolts are broken off in the head (not shown).
