West Coast Customs - Stallone's '55 Ford - Part 1
"Street Customs 2" Ep. 12 - Stallone's '55 Ford Sylvester Stallone's upcoming movie, "The Expendables," pays homage to the big action flicks of the 1980s and `90s, and will even include our own California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a cameo role. The film is set to feature a 1955 Ford F100 truck, which had to be fully restored for silver screen worthiness. The customization experts at West Coast Customs would be the ones handling the restoration efforts. After calling upon WyoTech students Owen Lubenow, Rusty McClintock, and Matt Myers for assistance, the crew at WCC was able to churn out three fully restored 1955 Ford F100s: two for the movie itself and one for Stallone to keep. The ground-up restorations included metal fabrication work and the installation of a 347-cubic-inch Ford small block from ATK Engines, which reportedly put out 429 horsepower and 411 pound-feet of torque when fitted with an Edelbrock Total Power Package. "The Expendables," written and directed by Stallone, features a full billing of all-star action actors, including Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, and more. The movie will be released on April 23, 2010.

1956 Ford F100 Show Truck FOR SALE
This is my 1956 Ford SHOW TRUCK that took me 5 years to complete and was my dream. I am now wanting to sell it. It turned out so nice, I am fearful to drive it for fear of damage or theft. Everything is top quality, no compromises. It is a completely new chassis, 2003 Mustang COBRA 4.6 supercharged engine, 6 speed manual trans, independent rear susp., air ride etc, etc, etc. There are too many features to list here. Looking for a 50's pickup and you want a great driver, but you want it to drive modern? Take a look at this PU. It is set up right. Camaro front clip with power steering for good handling and easy driving. Power disc brakes on the front, drums on the rear. Has a crate 350 Chevy engine with a mild cam. 700 R 4 overdrive transmission with push button floor shifter. Nicely finished interior with a tilt column and Grant wood steering wheel. Great looking custom instrument package. Auto Meter gauges. AM/FM CD sound system. Now if it's hot where you live, you have Vintage Air to keep you cool. Carpeted floor. This is a custom PU. Shaved doors with remote door openers. Good looking red paint. Chrome wheels. Diamond plate PU bed. 18 gallon fuel tank under the bed. The underside is not restored for show but looks solid. Does have some rust, on the underside at the back or the front rear fenders in 2 spots. The cab corners have been reworked. Like I said, it's set up to drive in comfort and ease. This PU belongs to a good friend and he bought it in California about 2 years ago. I have been driven around Palm Springs in it. He now wants to sell it. Great body and frame as you would expect from a California PU. There are some minor chips in the paint. If I were going to keep it for my self I would raise the seat a couple of inches. The vin tag has been removed and re-riveted back on. In most states it's not a problem but your state may require bonding. It's all serviced, safety checked and ready for you. Cond # 2-. 56 Chevy Pickup - $$$$ Spent on Restoration - $OLD!
Just reduced over $4,000! With over $50K invested--at $19,750 it's an absolute steel! This truck originally had a 1956 GMC cab and was replaced by a 1956 Chevy cab which looked the same at the time. It is powered by a completely rebuilt 350 w/rebuilt 350 turbo tranny and represents a long range and very expensive project. Features and changes are as follows: an '86 Camaro front clip, forward tipping hood has all new brackets (but original fittings available), new chrome grill, new chrome front bumper, headlights assembly, front disk brakes, single rear leaf springs and all shackles pins, etc which lowered the back to be equal with the front, digital shaved dash, power steering, freshly rebuilt bed, chrome header, new wiring harness, '87 Cadillac taillights, rolled rear, new gas tank, there are 1500 miles on the new tires, the interior has 2 covered single seats (40's) from two 60/40 1995 Suburbans. All hoses and cables were replaced, there is a custom steering wheel and the steering column is from a 1986 Chevy car, head lights and turn signal lights are new as are the chrome front bumper and chrome front grill. The oak floor boards have new chrome strips, the chains have been removed from the tailgate and it has the new "inside of bed" tailgate w/locks, taillights are from a 1986 Cadillac and there are new chromes wheels and tires.
