DSM 4g63 Engine Build
This is the video I made for the rebuild I did on my 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It took us over 6 months of hard work consisting of many almost sleepless nights, and countless frustrating moments that almost made us walk away. Engine Work Includes: honed cylinders, decked head and block, head rebuilt, new timing components, water pump, arp main and headstuds, acl race bearings, cometic mls headgasket, new engine gasket set, stock pistons and rods, odds and end stuff.





How to Rebuild a Turbo - Part 1 of 2
Rebuilding a td05h 16g turbo. This process can be applied to many journal bearing turbochargers. :) It definitely comes in handy to know how to do this when you are in this type of hobby. 4/25/12: Small explanation on the balancing of the rotating assembly since I get so many comments regarding it. This particular turbocharger, td05h, has its rotating assembly components balanced separately. This means each individual part (compressor wheel, turbine wheel/shaft) gets balanced separately. This allows for easy interchangeability of parts in case they need replacing. This is why I am able to install a td05 20g wheel on this turbo without having to balance the entire rotating assembly. THIS IS NOT THE CASE FOR ALL turboS OUT THERE. You need to research whether your specific turbo (if it's not td05h) was balanced as an assembly or "component balanced" like I explained above. Air Intake Pipe and K&N Filter Removal and Installation
A how-to on how to swap out and install the popular FP cast intake pipe with a K&N air filter. Great quality and performance for the 90-99 DSM Eclipse Talon Laser but can be applied to most cars with turbos. This partcular car has a Forced performance Green turbo but applies to 14b 16g T28 Red HX35 HX40 Holset and many other turbos for the DSM. In this video I also check turbo wheel play also known as shaft play. It doesn't hurt to check while you're in there. Enjoy! Oh and P.S. I don't like the way I said "inertia" either. lol

JDM 2JZ-GTE Brian Crower 272 intake/Exhaust cams 1mm oversize valves on intake/Exhaust Brian Crower valve springs & titanium retainers Ported head GT4294 JE pistons Carillo rods Custom made T6 manifold ACL race series bearings and gaskets This startup is on the stock 440cc injectors and computer. Had to shut down at the end due to a slow leak from the turbo oil return. Was also running straight out of the 4 inch dump.

How to remove / install bov (blowoff valve)
Very simple and straight forward install and can be applied to many bovs for many cars. This will be pretty much the same for a stock 1g bov. Good luck!
