2012 Jaguar XJ Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/jaguar/xj/2012/ 2012 Jaguar Test Drive - Jaguar has recently emerged from its darkest hours with a whole slew of newly redesigned luxury sports cars. The redesigned look gives the Jaguar a real sexy feel. But its not just the exterior where this car shines. Lurking under the hood of a few of the higher level trims is a supercharged 5.0 liter V-8 engine that produces 470 horsepower and 424 lb-ft. of torque. Those are some great numbers for a car costing less than $100k. But the base model 2012 Jaguar XJ is much cheaper at $73,700. The inside is nothing but ultra high luxury featuring top notch quality materials and a cool virtual gauge cluster. The XJ comes in both a regular wheelbase model and an extended wheelbase model called the XJL which is intended to battle the biggest from the likes of Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz. 2012 Porsche Panamera Test Drive & Luxury Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/porsche/panamera/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Porsche Panamera is an interesting combination of automotive delicacies. The Panamera is one part sports car, one part luxury car, one part hatchback, and one part sedan. Over the past decade, Porsche has created a few unique vehicles to target a broad range of car buyers. The Boxster is aimed at the entry level sports car enthusiast while the Cayenne is aimed at those looking for a quick SUV. But the Panamera offers 911 performance with a usable back seat. The 2012 Porsche Panamera can range from $75,200 for the base model all the way to $173,200 for the top of the line turbo S model. The vehicle tested in this video is the base model Panamera 4 (AWD). It is powered by a lightweight and direct injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is the famous PDK twin-cutch 7-speed unit that shifts lighting quick. Fuel economy on the 2012 Porsche Panamera is 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway thanks in part to an auto start/stop system which shuts down the engine while the car is sitting idle. Sixty MPH flies by in 5.8 seconds and the Panamera 4 has a top speed of 159 MPH. The Panamera handles incredibly well thanks to the Porsche Traction Management system. The AWD monitors driving situations and can adjust power as need. The Panamera is equipped with Anti-Slip Regulation and Automatic Brake Differential. Porsche Active Suspension Management is optional on the Panamera 4. This system provides electronic dampening at all 4 corners of the car thus reducing body roll and increasing handling. The system will also tighten up the setting based on the selection of modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus. The rims are 18-inch alloys wrapped in sticky rubber. The 2012 Porsche Panamera comes with huge 360 mm brakes up front and 330 mm brakes out back. The calipers are six-piston units. Safety wise besides all the electronic computer controlled systems, the Panamera 4 features a full compliment of 2-stage airbags for both the front and rear passengers. With the rear seats up the Panamera has a luggage compartment with over 15 cubic feet of storage space. But with he seats down the hatchback design allows for over 44 cubic feet of cargo room which is a large amount for this segment. And believe it or not the 2012 Porsche Panamera can tow up to 4850 lbs. The Panamera is a very efficient and powerful sports car that offers a high level of luxury and sophistication while being able to transport 4 passengers in style. 2012 Mazda3 Hatchback Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mazda/mazda3/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Mazda3 5-Door hatchback is one of the best driving cars for the money. With a base price of $21,200 the Mazda3 hatchback gives you precise steering, a wonderful gearbox, good fuel economy, and sexy looks. The exterior of the car is bold and unusual. The car is powered by a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine that puts out 148 horsepower and 135 lb-ft. of torque. If you are looking for more power you can jump up to the Mazdaspeed3 with adds turbo power into the mix. But for the price the 2012 Mazda3 5-Door is tough to beat. Fuel economy checks in at 25 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway. The hatchback design adds tons of usable cargo space as compared to the regular sedan version of this car. 2012 BMW 5-Series Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/bmw/535/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 BMW 5-Series resides in one of the most competitive automotive segments: the mid-sized luxury car class. But the good news is BMW continues to be a leader year in and year out and the 2012 BMW 5-Series is no exception. The 535 has a base price of $52,250 and comes with a turbocharged 3-Liter 6-cylinder engine that puts out 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is great at 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. The top of the line 550 model has a base price of $61,700 and comes packing a 400 horsepower V-8 engine. The addition of an 8-speed automatic transmission allows the 2012 BMW 550 to get 15 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. One really cool feature on the 2012 BMW 5-Series is the heads-up display. This great piece of technology can show your current speed, driving directions, and it also acts in conjunction with the many safety systems on the 5-Series. The 5-Series comes in many different forms and trim levels. But you can expect the same great BMW heritage in the 2012 BMW 5-Series Luxury Sedan. It offers a variety of powertrains ranging from a V6, a Hybrid, and a V8. Infiniti has been slipping a little on their material quality, but this car seems to be in very good shape. The M is a very comfortable car as well and the dash is a nice conservative styling point. The exterior is also stylish with nice HID Headlamps and LED Tailamps with a nice bulbous front end. The M is still a great car, but the Lexus GS offers more luxury features and has been redesigned for 2013 and it has better fuel economy, it also offers a Hybrid too all at the same price as the M.
