2012 Jaguar XJ Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/jaguar/xj/2012/ 2012 Jaguar Test Drive - Jaguar
has recently emerged from its darkest hours with a whole slew of newly
redesigned luxury sports cars. The redesigned look gives the Jaguar a real
sexy feel. But its not just the exterior where this car shines. Lurking
under the hood of a few of the higher level trims is a supercharged 5.0
liter V-8 engine that produces 470 horsepower and 424 lb-ft. of
torque. Those are some great numbers for a car costing less than $100k.
But the base model 2012 Jaguar XJ is much cheaper at $73,700. The inside
is nothing but ultra high luxury featuring top notch quality materials and
a cool virtual gauge cluster. The XJ comes in both a regular wheelbase
model and an extended wheelbase model called the XJL which is intended to
battle the biggest from the likes of Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz.

2012 Hyundai Equus Test Drive & Luxury Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/equus/2012/ Everything you would expect in
a luxury sedan can be found in the 2012 Hyundai Equus. In fact the Equus is
a very nice alternative to Lexus, BMW, and Mercedes at a more affordable
price. The Equus is a RWD long wheel base luxury sedan with a base price of
$59,000. This is $15k-$30k less than is competition!
When the Equus was first launched in this country it came with a very
respectable 4.6 liter engine. But the engine certainly did not have the
guts to match up to some of the competitors in the luxury car segment. For
the 2012 model year the Equus gets an updated GDI 5.0 liter V-8 engine
produces huge numbers at 429 horsepower and 376 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. Fuel economy figures are
15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.
Hyundai has gone to great lengths to shed the image that their cars lack
character. Well the new fluidic design element is evident on the 2012
Hyundai Equus. Up front the Equus shares the same style front grill as the
Genesis sedan. HID Xenon headlights equipped with LED turn signals really
accent the exterior of this luxury sedan. The 19-inch chrome wheels are
also a great touch and they perfectly accentuate the other chrome accents
parts on the exterior. The Equus can easily be mistaken for a Lexus or
other high-end luxury cars.
If you got behind the wheel of a 2012 Hyundai Equus, you might think you
are in a Lexus LS 460. The gauges are very similar to that of other
high-end luxury cars and the seat adjustments are located on the door just
like they are in a Mercedes S550. There is an 8-inch navigation unit that
also displays driver information located in the center dash. The whole
interior is wrapped in high quality leather. There are lovely wood accents
throughout. The audio is handled by a 608-watt Lexicon sound system. The
driver's seats are 12-way adjustable and feature both heating and cooling.
In the back there are two premium first-class seats that can recline and
feature leg support. The center console in the rear is a mini fridge. The
2012 Hyundai Equus combines all the best features found on other luxury
cars in one great package.

Infiniti has always been the leader in horsepower in the entry
level luxury sedan segment and the G37 continues that tradition. The engine
powering the 2012 Infiniti G37 sport is a 3.7 liter V-6 that pumps out 328
horsepower and 269
lb-ft. of torque. You can get a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic
transmission. Of course the automatic is better for fuel economy but the
manual transmission is a blast to have. Gas mileage ratings are 19 MPG in
the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
A couple of great features found on the Sport Model of the Infiniti G37 is
the Intelligent AWD system which monitors wheel spin and adapts to changing
road conditions, the sport tuned suspension, Viscous Limited Slip
Differential, larger brakes, and 18-inch aluminum rims with performance
On the inside of the 2012 Infiniti G37 we find firm yet luxurious seats.
The Seats on the Sport Model have adjustable side bolsters to fit your
driving style. The interior design is a bit simple but there are lots of
great features. The Shodo Aluminum trim looks great alongside the gauges.
Intelligent Cruise Control automatically keeps your vehicle at a safe
distance when enabled. The touch-screen hard drive navigation system has
voice recognition, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more. Infiniti engineers
put a lot of time and effort into designing the Infiniti Studio on Wheels
by BOSE sound system.
If you have between $35k and $50k to spend on a sedan and you are looking
at the luxury car segment; then the 2012 Infiniti G37 is a great car that
is tough to beat.

2012 BMW 5-Series Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/bmw/535/2012/ The 2012 BMW 5-Series resides in
one of the most competitive automotive segments: the mid-sized luxury car
class. But the good news is BMW continues to be a leader year in and year
out and the 2012 BMW 5-Series is no exception. The 535 has a base price of
$52,250 and comes with a turbocharged
3-Liter 6-cylinder engine that puts out 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy is great at 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the
highway. The top of the line 550 model has a base price of $61,700 and
comes packing a 400 horsepower V-8 engine. The
addition of an 8-speed automatic transmission allows the 2012 BMW 550 to
get 15 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway.
One really cool feature on the 2012 BMW 5-Series is the heads-up display.
This great piece of technology can show your current speed, driving
directions, and it also acts in conjunction with the many safety systems on
the 5-Series. The 5-Series comes in many different forms and trim levels.
But you can expect the same great BMW heritage in the 2012 BMW 5-Series

2012 Audi A6 versus BMW 535i review: And the best luxury sedan is...
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new BMW 535i has almost always been the
benchmark for all other mid-sized luxury sedans. But for 2012 the all new
Audi A6 is taking direct aim at the BMW buyer as well as the 535i. The Audi
brings to the table a 310 HP supercharged powerplant, an 8 speed automatic
transmission and of course Quattro all-wheel-drive. But to not to be
outdone the BMW has all of the same stuff but instead of a supercharged
engine it comes with a turbo. So which
one is the better car?

What i ahve to say about the 2013 M37: The M got resdesinged in 2011 and
while it's still a decent car it may not be the best. It offers a variety
of powertrains ranging from a V6, a Hybrid, and a V8. Infiniti has been
slipping a little on their material quality, but this car seems to be in
very good shape. The M is a very comfortable car as well and the dash is a
nice conservative styling point. The exterior is also stylish with nice HID
Headlamps and LED Tailamps with a nice bulbous front end. The M is still a
great car, but the Lexus GS offers more luxury features and has been
redesigned for 2013 and it has better fuel economy, it also offers a Hybrid
too all at the same price as the M. Like Camerons Car Reviews Facebook Page
