first run of the engine in my truck which is a 74 chevy/gmc. built like the budget 350 in hot rod magazine. it makes around 400 hp and 420 lbs/ft of torque. i posted the link below

This is a 388 chevrolet engine cold start up. It has a big mutha thumper
cam and 492 dumble hump heads. Heads have been angle milled and bowl
ported with light porting. flat top pistons and block been decked giving
aprox 11.7:1 static compression. 750 edelbrock carb and a dual plane high
rise air gap intake. This is all in a 1960 Chevy truck frame that im
restoring right now. Engine is backed with turbo 350 and ford 9 inch.

327 THUMPR CAM FIRST START AFTER REBUILD
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME TRYING TO START MY 327ci SMALL BLOCK CHEVROLET
AFTER REBUILD. THIS LITTLE BEAST HAS BEEN BORED 0.40 OVER WHICH MAKES IT A
333ci I PUT A SET OF ALUMINUM 2.02 1.60's HEADS WITH ROLLER ROCKERS. IT HAS
A RPM AIR GAP INTAKE "POLISHED" WITH A 650CFM HOLLEY CARB, H.E.I & FORCE
IGNITION BOX. MUTHA THUMPR CAM, TRUE DOUBLE ROLLER TIMING CHAIN, ALUMINUM
.PULLEY'S ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE. THIS THING SHOULD BE 400HP EASY. THE
MOTOR STARTED GETTING A LITTLE WARM ABOUT HALF WAY TROUGH THE BREAK IN SO I
CHOSE TO SHUT IT OFF, LET IT COOL & GET SOME MORE COOLANT IN IT AND ANOTHER
FAN ON IT. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF IT.
'92 gmc with vortec 350 and zz9 roller cam. open headers.
This is my freshly built 350 with 9.8:1 compression, vortec heads,
performer rpm intake holley 770cfm carb, and tpis zz9 roller cam. specs are
212/226 @ .050. and .480/.520 lift with 1.5's. It's in my '92 GMC 2500 with
a 5-speed. It currently has open headers-- hence the mic. distortion.
My Iroc on the chassis dyno MustangDyno. Engine- 350, Vortec heads,
Comp 268 cam, performer rpm intake, 9.2:1 comp, 600 cfm carb, headers, TCI
Streetfighter 700r4, 3.42gears. Ran 260hp at 5500, 280tq at 3800. This was
the first run, got messed up because of the downshift. It also did 13.8 at
104 in the quarter mile on the Dyno.
