Clicking noise is a leak in the balancing tube (welded day after this video) Some sloppy shifts due to slack in the rear end and un-adjusted clutch with cracked clutch arm bracket.
I loved/love this car! So much fun to drive...
450hp LS1 1978 Datsun 280Z
One of the coolest imports I've had the opportunity to see in action, this extremely streetable 1978 Datsun 280z takes it's first trip to the drag strip to do some testing. The car has an LS1 with heads, cam, and FAST intake manifold putting down around 450 wheel horsepower! Best 1/8 mile time was 7.11 for the night.

Yes it has a big V8, but it is the quality of this car that sets it apart. It is subtle enough that you may not notice it. The fender flares that are so well integrated that they look stock, then they flow perfectly to the rocker panel ground effects in a seamless manner. The GTO vents on the fender. It just all works.
