How to make your 2010-2014 Mustang GT REALLY LOUD for free! (sound tube mod)
This is a video on how to quickly and easily make your 2010, 2011, 2012,
2013, 2014 (or any year after 2010 really) Ford Mustang GT MUCH louder inside the car
when you are flooring it. Also known as a 'sound tube mod or modification'
This does NOT harm your car or void your warranty in any way. Basically,
when Ford redesigned the car for the 2010 model year, they made it a
quieter of a ride... but when you floored it, it was too quiet, so they
decided to add a 'sound tube' that routes SOUND (not air) from the intake
after the filter directly into the cabin next to the firewall near the
driver's foot well. Now however, the car was too loud when floored, so they
added a series of small pieces of foam inside this sound tube (1 piece of
foam for the 2010, 2 (possibly 3) for the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014. etc) This
made the car loud when floored, but not too loud, as I guess some people
don't like it to be too loud. For those of us that do want to make the car
louder, here is what you have to do! Its unbelievably simple and there is
pretty much nothing you can do to hurt your car. Watch this video, and then
go do this for yourself, it's truly amazing. It makes the car sound louder,
the engine meatier and makes the dash literally shake from the abundant

message. To undo this mod (because you feel it is too loud) simply do the
reverse of this video, and put the piece of foam back in, or cut it in half
to make it louder than stock, but quieter than the full mod. This is
something ALL 2010-201* Mustang GT owners should do, Its
quite simply amazing.

We were a little curious with two cars like this who would put the power to
pavement in straight line drag races. We did try running from a stop, but
only the Mustang could get
traction, the BMW spun like crazy over and over, so we went from a roll to
take traction out of the equation! Both cars are stock, the Mustang 6 speed automatic, and the
BMW has 7 speed DCT transmission, both are V8's, and both make about 400 horsepower. The Mustang sticker price if
$36,xxx, however the M3 is slightly less then DOUBLE the price of the Mustang, over $60,000! More
