2012 Chevrolet Sonic LT Sedan Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 1K
2012 Chevrolet Sonic LT
This Sonic has the 138 HP 1.8L DOHC 4 Cyl & it's paired to a 6 speed auto.
The Sonic has quite a large engine considering it's a sub-compact. Though
I feel this to be a rather unrefined engine. A tad on the buzzy side &
somewhat excessively noisy at idle which concerns me. Not sure if it's
this car or normal operation of this engine. It's quite comfortable up in
front but the back seat is off limits for tall passenger. I really hope
running into the hatch version next.

Here is my new Custom Bent Exhaust
System with a Magnaflow Non-Chambered Muffler at 2.25" Pipe Size. No
Resonator, Just the Magnaflow Muffler from the 2nd CAT back.
The videos i shot that compile this video downplay the sound level of this
Exhaust system. its louder in person,
not overly loud like alot can be. But its just right in every aspect.
inside and out. The videos inside the car for example, the sound is more
noticable than it shows. I love how this turned out and how it sounds. Will
be having lots of fun with this now.

2012 Chevrolet Sonic Review and 0-60 MPH Drive
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) For 2012 Chevrolet has completely redesigned and
even renamed the Chevy Aveo. The small Chevrolet economy car is now the
brand new Chevy Sonic. The old Aveo was really a rebadged Korean that is
now a bad memory in the minds of many car reviewers. So of course the
obvious question is has General Motors come out of the corner swinging with
a brand new Chevrolet Sonic that can take on the likes of the very popular
Honda Fit, Ford Fiesta, and of course the very similar KIA Rio. Check out
this 0 to 60 MPH review of the 2012 Chevrolet Sonic to find out.

2011 SEMA Feature Profile: Chevrolet Sonic Boom Concept
The Sonic has been represented in serious numbers at SEMA 2011. Chevy spent
a lot of time working with partners to build custom cars, but also designed
a few serious gems of their own. One thing Chevy knew they needed was a
Sonic that would really go "boom!" and hence the Sonic Boom Concept was
The Sonic Boom features a 4,000 watt audio system by Kicker® Performance
Audio, custom 19" wheels, Z-Spec Concept Ground Effects, Grille and
Spoiler, along with an Anodized Flat Red paint job. A custom "Panic Button"
on the front dash activates the Sonic Boom's jet engine- inspired audio
system, opens the trunk and back doors while droppin' the hardcore bass on
any innocent bystanders.
I caught up with Rob Cameron of the Chevrolet Design Team on Monday night
and had him tell us a little about the car. Check the video out (you know
the drill) after the jump!
