RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF : Nakai-San
We spent two days living and breathing RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF from morning to
midnight. Nakai-San from RWB creates some of the most unique Porsches in
the world, this film captures the heart and soul of RWB, a Japanese based
workshop that has been in business for 15 years.
A unique style will always cause divided opinions but no matter your
preference the passion and dedication that Nakai-san has for his work can
not be ignored.

Making of RWB USA 993 #5 Rauh-Welt
9 Magazine had a rare opportunity to spend time with Nakai-San of Rauh-Welt
Begriff / RWB while he created this 993 Wide-Body mastepiece for a USA
Customer. This RWB 993 is #5 in the USA and will be featured in the May /
June 2012 issue of 9 Magazine.
The process to build this RWB took Nakai-San about a week from start to
finish. The parts were shipped ahead of time from Japan and painted to
match before he arrived.
The wide-body fenders were trial fitted, and then installed after the OE
fenders were cut and removed. The front bumper, side skirts, signature
whale-tail and wheels were then installed.
The finished product is the one of the most wicked and highest quality kits
for Porsche available today. It's no wonder RWB is the hottest trend in the
industry. Nakai-San's attention to detail and superior craftsmanship is
evident at every angle.
We would like to thank the owner of #5 and RWB for allowing us the
opportunity to make this video. In addition, a special thanks to Kenny and
Edmond at Chilly Performance in Tampa.
Rhys Millen's 750 HP V6 is bred to break Pike's Peak
Rhys Millen will attempt to beat the current "Unlimited Class" World Record
of 10:01.408 & the 10-minute barrier at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Last
June, Rhys took a Hyundai Genesis coupe to a class record in the two-wheel
drive Time Attack class with a 12:09.397. This year, Millen wants to take
the overall record back from Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, whose held the
record since 2007, and bested Rod Millen's thirteen year old course record.
Millen is aiming to get the first ever sub-10 minute time at Pikes Peak
and he and his team have built a new car dubbed the Genesis PM580, a 1,850
pound, 750 horse power V6 beast is designed specifically to conquer the 156
turns to the top and return the world record to the Millen name.
