Texas Mile Corvette Crash - March 2011
The Texas Mile record holder for a Corvette at 224mph! This Corvette was built by Hinson Motorsports - over 1400rwhp I don't have the 224mph pass on video but I caught the 221mph pass. It looks like one of the tires went out and caused the car to veer hard to the right. The driver was ok, he walked away from the crash. Porsche 911 DOCUMENTARY PART 1/5
The Porsche 911is a luxury 2-door sports coupe made by Porsche. It has a distinctive design, rear engined and with independent rear suspension, an evolution of the swing axle on the Porsche 356. The engine was also air-cooled until the introduction of the Type 996 in 1998. Since its introduction in autumn 1963, it has undergone continuous development. The basic concept has remained little changed throughout its evolution. Throughout its lifetime, the 911 has been modified by private teams and by the factory itself for racing, rallying and other forms of automotive competition. It is among the most successful competition cars ever. In the mid 1970s, normally aspirated 911 Carrera RSRs won major world championship sports car races such as Targa Florio, Daytona, Sebring and Nürburgring, even against prototypes. The 911-derived 935 turbo also won the coveted 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979. Manufacturer: Porsche AG Production: 1963--present Assembly: Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany Predecessor: Porsche 356 Body style(s): 2-door coupe, 2-door cabriolet, 2-door Targa Layout:Rear-engine, rear-wheel drive / four-wheel drive

Zuccone of Evolution MotorSports tunes a EVT700RS Porsche GT2RS with EVOMSit and Akrapovič Exhaust
Evolution MotorSports Engine Performance System for the limited edition 2011 Porsche 997 GT2 RS improves an already incredible supercar into a menacing street or track monster. The stock 3.6L twin turbo engine with 620 HP and 516 lb.-ft. TQ is increased to over 700 HP and 737 lb.-ft. TQ with the EVT700RS engine upgrade. With the increase in power and TQ throughout the entire RPM range, acceleration and overall engine performance is dramatically improved. Exhaust / High Flow Catalysts: The Titanium Akrapovič (pronounced "Ack-rap'-o-vich") Evolution Exhaust system with high flow 100 cpsi metallic catalysts provides a "real sports car sound" which is more suited for the GT2RS without any annoying interior resonance. This industry leading Exhaust features larger tube diameters, measuring 60 mm which reduces the power-consuming backpressure thus enabling the turbochargers to be heard. The result is a significant power increase with the associated EVT700RS performance components while reducing weight by 2 kg (4.41 lbs.), compared to the stock system. Intelligent Software Tuning: The final piece of the performance package comes together with careful refinements to the OEM engine management system. Our fanatically obsessive procedures to achieve ultimate perfection with the GT2RS engine software are carried out by our years of unparalleled success with this engine platform. Our analytical tuning methods combined with methodical testing procedures, state of the art equipment and unmatched mechanical intelligence are fused together to create the ULTIMATE performance software. Evolution MotorSports 997.2TT Hunting Down The Blue 800 HP Vivid 997TT
[View in HD] This is what it is all about. A great day of racing and testing at Firebird International Raceway with NASA. Check out Zuccone, founder of Evolution MotorSports, EVOMS (Polizei) running down Mermelstein founder of Vivid Racing and Agency Power in their claimed 800 HP 997TT. Got your attention now? The EVOMS Polizei is the brand new 2010 Porsche 997.2TT with PPK and a prototype engine performance system consisting of a EVOMSit performance ECU tune and high flow Exhaust. Estimated power is ~ 580 HP and 600 TQ. The 997.2TT was still utilizing the stock suspension, brakes, etc. The only chassis modification was a set of Fikse wheels and Toyo R888 tires. This new Evolution MotorSports R&D project has only 1500 miles on it and after only 4 days in the shop has increased power to ~580 horsepower and ~600 Torque. Performance upgrades in the first week include an EVOMSit (intelligent tuning) computer program and high flow cats with straight pipes. Mermelstein's Vivid Racing Agency Power Porsche 997TT is claimed to be 800+HP and has a full race suspension. Watch the video and make your comments!
