Pontiac Banshee A Longer Look
The Banshee was a vision for what the Firebird could become. Of course, this concept car could never be built exactly, too low on the road and it wouldn't pass the safety and crash tests, but it was exciting. It demonstrated that the problem with GM cars didn't sit on the designers' shoulders. They were more than capable of dreaming up engaging and fun vehicles that would set imaginations on fire.

SOLD 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix TGP
Bright Red w/Buckskin interior. 3.1 liter/205hp, turbocharged V6, automatic transmission. Pontiac has always been known as an innovative American car manufacturer having basically invented the Muscle Car. Pontiac was also one early to adopt turbocharging as a way of getting a lot of power into a more compact engine. In 1989 Pontiac came out with two very unique cars. One was the legendary turbo Trans Am Indy Pace Car. The other was the Grand Prix TGP. The turbo Grand Prix was a rare piece as only around 1000 were produced in '89. This example is in very nice condition, needing only a bit of TLC to get it to excellent status! These cars came with just about everything and the TGP had the distinction of being the first production car with Heads-Up Display! Stk #5469
