2012 Sonic LT, Hatchback, First Look, O'Donnell Chevrolet, San Gabriel, CA 91776
It's not a hedgehog and the rear seat folds flat for cargo. Yay! MSRP $18,090 as seen. We grabbed a shot of this Sonic LT hatchback as it rolled through our dealer with our Regional General Manager at the wheel. Steve is over 6'-2" and said the car is completely comfortable for him as he makes his rounds from dealer to dealer. That says a lot, coming from a corporate manager that just gave up his Corvette demo for this sub compact gas saver. We agree with him though. You have to test this little powerhouse before you settle on any sub compact. It shares the 1.8 liter with the Cruze, so it gets down the road generously. Visit us online at http://www.ODchevy.com or feel free to call us at 626-285-3600 with any vehicle requests or general questions. Ask for Jason, Hugo, or Ken, our dealer managers, who are ready to assist you. Thank you for viewing our Channel and videos. Please come back frequently for more reviews and fun!

Muscle Truck Revamp on a 1974 Chevrolet C10! - Hot Rod Garage Ep. 5
On this episode of Hot Rod Garage Presented by Lincoln Tech we revamp the
Muscle Truck, our 1974 Chevrolet C10. In episode 28 of Roadkill we ripped
the stepside fenders off the bed and cut the front sheet metal to make room
for aggressive off-road rubber so that we could roost through the Imperial
Sand Dunes. The fenderless version of the Muscle Truck was fun but it’s
high time we restore the truck to her former glory. We’ll replace the
rapidly deteriorating particle board bed floor with new oak slats and
bolt-on a new pair of aftermarket front fenders. We’ll also add a bit of
functionality to the truck by covering the massive step notch in the rear
frame rails with sheet metal, which will keep stuff from falling out of the
bed. As usual, Finnegan and Freiburger will answer viewer questions pulled
from our Facebook page and Lincoln Tech instructors and students will drop
a bit of knowledge in a

2014 Chevrolet Sonic Review by Automotive Trends
GM's been enjoying much improved sales results the last few years and a big
driver of that has been the newfound competitiveness in its car lineup.
Chevrolet now has a strong entry at every level from the ity bity Spark to
the downright handsome Impala and it's been far too long since we've been
able to declare that. We just got a crack at the 5-door Sonic and while no
one will be using phrases like "downright handsome" to describe it, we
found a lot to like about the little Michigan-made Chevy. First is the
excellent 1.4-liter turbo that delivers
a stout 148 lb-ft of torque at a very useable 2,500 rpm and manages to earn
29 mpg city and 40 mpg highway. We liked the 6-speed manual that delivered
rewarding shifts and smooth clutch engagement. Just like we noted in the
Spark the technology offered at this price point continues to impress. Our
$20,405 tester featured a backup camera, bluetooth, lane departure and
forward collision alert systems, satellite radio and the touch-screen
MyLink system for easily controlling compatible iPhone apps like navigation
and Pandora. We would ask Chevy to bring back some simple volume and tuning
knobs. We found the Sonic commendably quiet with a comfortable ride quality
and impressive responses considering this wasn't even a sport-oriented RS
model. The seats were very comfortable and nicely bolstered and the driving
position was spot on with no sense that this was an economy car. Our
particular tester featured a selection of dealer-installed accessories like
black wheels and a cat back Borla Exhaust that might appeal to young buyers that
make up a big part of this car's target audience but certainly aren't
needed. With solid ergonomics, a willing powertrain and no glaring
penalties for choosing one of their smallest cars, a Chevy showroom should
be high on your list when shopping in this segment.
