1968 Ford Torino GT (390)
very nice car, the first year for the Torino name, yet this car was still basically a Fairlane, the Torino was the more upscale model, while the Fairlane name was put on the lower level models, this one has the nice 390, thus it has lots of get up and go, also i would imagine it has the 4 speed manual, but it might have the 3-speed, overall this is a spot on car, and is a nice example of a '68 Torino GT and this model also takes you back to the days when the Torinos ruled the tracks in Nascar, and it also appears to be very stock, which is always nice to see sometimes, also it appears the Fastback was the most popular body variant for the '68 Torino GT, with a production number of 74,135 which easily doubled sales over the hardtop sales which where 23,939 and only some 5,310 convertible Torino GT's where built in '68, the same repeated in 1969, also if you read the further reading links you will find all kinds of info like production numbers and specs and reviews on the particular car or generation of car in the video,
