This is my first video upload on Youtube...so take it easy on me..:) This is the 69 Buick Skylark convertible I am working on. I have the frame and front suspension done so I thought I'd make a video of it. More videos to come on the rest of the car...including the big block 455 build.

In 1969, Buick produced only 6,552 Skylark Custom Convertibles with a very few being painted in Antique Gold like this one. This 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible is powered by its original, numbers matching 350 CID V8 engine, backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine was recently rebuilt by a well known Buick engine builder with only 100 miles since rebuild. The engine rebuild included a new standard cam, lifters, engine seals, standard rod bearings, and new main bearings. Options on this 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible for sale include: AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Air Conditioning, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Power Convertible Top, Hub Caps, and Radial Tires. The exterior has been repainted once, back to its original Antique Gold paint scheme. The interior is sporting its original Buckskin vinyl interior with a 60/40 front bench seat which shows very well. This '69 Buick remains almost original expect for the AM/FM radio with Cassette player. A few rebuilt items on the car include: Factory 2-Barrel Carburetor, Oil Pump, Alternator, and the Starter. 1969 BUICK SKYLARK CUSTOM Before and After clip. Took about a year to get to this point. New Paint, new Chrome, New Shocks with Air shocks in the back, GS 15 Rims with 235/60r15 rubber, Grill teeth fixed and painted, New Seats. Still needed is.. Steering wheel refurbish and maybe new carpet. O yea.. Still need to install the window felts. That is about it !! So all in all. She turned out beautiful !! Fast and Fun !! I am still amazed at how tight she is with no rattles or squeaks . Doors close like a vault and are tight ! Engine idles and runs fantastic !! Even after more than 40 years !! I wish GM, actually I wish all car manufactures still made cars this good..

a good friend's aunt has this car . She wanted it to stop and handle better. So i'am up grading to power disc brakes up front , ploy controll arm bushings ,new ball joints, and a big sway bar .

1965 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE. # 444675H121712. I like finding cars like this. I got the original window sticker with it showing it was sold in Mountain View California. Also the Protect-O-Plate showing it was sold to the first owner 11/27/1964 living in Saratoga California. Im not sure when it came to Washington but I got a lot of receipts from as far back as 1993 in Seattle. The receipts show the engine was rebuilt 2004. When I bought it the owner had bought a new carpet kit but had not installed it so my son Andrew did. You will see current floor pan photos. Floor pans look great. The window sticker shows wire wheel covers and they are still on the car. Another neat thing that shows on the window sticker Custom Trim Bucket Seats. You can expect to find a few spots in the paint and it has some, nothing big. Minor rust bubbles too. The top is old and shows age but should last a long time. For me the top is alI ways down except when my wife wants it up. Its triple white. V-8 with automatic transmission. Power steering. Power brakes. Power top. Came with front seat belts and the rear seat belts have been added. In the trunk we found very small rust holes in the floor. All serviced and safety checked. Installed new wheel cylinders on the front along with new front brake lining. You will like driving this car. Every Buick I have had in the 60s I have liked. They are great cars. You can drive this Buick anywhere. Im looking forward to driving it a lot before its sold. Im pricing it to sell in this market.
