1972 Plymouth Fury - 20K Original Miles - Aztec Gold - Classic American Car
I am selling my Aztec Gold metallic 1972 Plymouth Fury III . It is a very rare car in this condition. There are only 20,000 actual miles on this car with a strong 360 and a smooth automatic. I bought it from it's 2nd owner, and it has a clear Arkansas title. It's been kept in a carport most of it's life, and only 2,000 miles have been put on since 1988. It spent it's life in Hot Springs, and hasn't ever left the state to the best of my knowledge. The exterior is in great shape, but the interior needs work. The seats need to be recovered, and the dash and headliner need to be replaced. This car is a big head turner, and it always gets looks and questions whenever I drive it. I have had several people ask me if I would be interested in selling it, but I have always said no. I am deciding to part with it now because we are moving. I would love for it to go to someone that will love this car and return it to it's original glory. Even the hide-away headlights work flawlessly. Turn the key, and it's ready to go! There are 4 brand new Hankook Optimo's on it, and even a brand new spare. There is less than 20 miles on these tires, and the spare has never been driven on! The tires were put on at a local dealer last month and I can provide the receipt to the buyer. Also installed new plugs and wires less than 60 miles ago, but I still have the original "Chrysler Corporation" orange wires from the car. There is a small leak around the rear window chrome, needs an idler arm brushing ($35 at O'Reilly's), and it has minor Exhaust leaks. It needs a new fuel tank and sending unit due to the fact that it wasn't driven for years, and was only started and ran, and the tank ended up rusting. I flushed the lines, and installed a tank so I could drive it, but it isn't the correct one so the fuel gauge doesn't register. The air conditioner currently doesn't work, the compressor isn't locked though, and the heater runs great. I have another compressor that goes with it that I got from the previous owner. Needs a few odds and ends but over all not a bad car. It's not a show car but again this car gets looks and "thumbs up" every time its driven.
