1973 Maverick Grabber 332 Stroker first test drive
This is the first test drive of an 8 month build. It's a very clean 1973 Maverick Grabber that has been converted to a top loader 4 speed. The engine is a 332 Scat Stroker, with Dart Aluminum heads, roller cam, MSD, etc. During the build we also installed an SSBC 4 wheel disc brake conversion. My wife was trying to film the "maiden voyage" and the camcorder batteries went dead. She was relegated to the front porch using the AC adapter. We will get it out on the road for more footage soon....

XJ in Moab on Hells Revenge - Video
Jeep Cherokee footage on Hells Revenge in Moab, June 1st 2008. This was my
project Jeep's maiden trip to Moab. We did a lot of cool modifications
including customs bumpers, custom high lift jack mount, lockers, Rubicon
Long Arm Lift, 4 wheel disc brakes, etc.
1973 Maverick Grabber radical 332 Stroker
This is the video of a 7 month build. The car is a 1973 Maverick Grabber.
The engine is a 332 Scat Stroker with Dart aluminum heads, roller cam, 10:1
compression, 650 Holley, stainless valves, MSD Billet Distributor and 6AL.
Many other modifications including 4 wheel disc brake conversion, 380 posi,
Top Loader 4 speed, Cal Tracks traction bars. We just started the engine
for the first time on January 31st. There were some initial problems with
the carburetor. We could not get it to idle initially. After several
attempts to adjust the carb., we switched it out, and put the old carb on.
The problems were solved, but we ran out of video tape. More to come....
Maverick vs. Duster
Here's my very first drag race. My car is the Maverick with a 302. The
Duster barely beat me, but if I had done better off the launch I would have
Black Bear Pass - The Descent into Telluride
This is a video of Black Bear Pass. The trail runs from south of Ouray all
the way to Telluride. It's a wonderfully scenic trail with waterfalls and
lots of flowers. It's really not all that extreme. It earns its reputation
for the steep and narrow descent into Telluride. This is supposed to be one
of the most intimidating trails in Southwestern Colorado. I made this video
for those who want to see what it's like before you do it. I hope you enjoy

ENERGY ABSORBING BUMPERS WERE NEW THIS YEAR. THE 3 MAVERICK MODELS ARE A
FASTBACK 2 DOOR SEDAN, 139,818 PRODUCED, A FOUR DOOR SEDAN WHICH IS SHOWN,
137,728 PRODUCED, AND THE GRABBER 2 DOOR FASTBACK OF WHICH 23,501 WERE
MADE. THIS 4 DOOR SEDAN IN THIS VIDEO HAD A BASE PRICE OF $2,824. LUXURY
PACKAGE RAN ABOUT $350 MORE. SO, WITH ALL OF THE MAVERICKS SOLD OVER THE
YEARS PRODUCED, HOW MANY HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY? HOW MANY IN THE CONDITION
