Racing SuperStock B on a superstock SV650 at Cresson
Motorsport Ranch Cresson, clockwise. CMRA 2011, Round 8 Decided I wasn't having fun in my normal races so I entered a race with GSXR750's, Duc 848's and below. Started last row of 25 entries and finished 8th. Couldn't squeeze by an 848 and a 750 that were attached at the hip in all the tight sections. My bike: 2003 SV650S, stock power except for Exhaust, AK20's, Penske Double, Michelin V front/B rear
Sv650s Powerband Explained
The Sv is a V-twin, meaning it has a pretty even powerband (not having increased torque around 7k like the inline-4 600cc bikes). This makes the sv a very friendly beginner bike but still having the power to go well over 100... in my opinion, a much better option than the 250/300cc bikes IF you're ready. Thanks for watching!!
