2013 Toyota RAV4 Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review

http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/rav4/?id=32972 The Toyota RAV4 first hit the shores here in the U.S. back in 1996. This little crossover SUV along with the Honda CR-V is responsible for starting the crossover craze. Today there are almost 50 different crossover models for sale here in America. The 4th generation RAV4 is an updated model that gets a complete interior and exterior redesign as well as an updated powerplant. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 comes in 3 trim levels: the LE, the XLE, and the top of the line Limited. The base price on the LE trim is just under $25k The RAV4 vs. CR-V battle reminds us of the old Ford vs. Chevy battles during the muscle car era. Over the past few years the Honda CR-V has really taken over the segment, gaining the most market share. But the all-new 2013 Toyota RAV4 aims to get back on top of the crossover sales charts. There are a ton of new features and lots of changes that make the 4th generation RAV4 the best ever. The past generation Toyota RAV4 came with a choice of a 4-cylinder or V-6 engine. Well the larger V-6 has been dropped and now the only engine offered is an efficient 2.5 liter 4-cylinder making 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft. of torque. What that means is coupled with the standard 6-speed automatic transmission and FWD; the 2013 Toyota RAV4 will return 31 MPG on the highway. You can also opt for an AWD version as a $1400 option. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 has been completely redesigned outside and in. It all starts with a brand new front end consisting of a bold grille and headlights that look similar to the new Camry. This generation RAV4 was made more aerodynamic and the result is better fuel economy. If you are buying a crossover chances are you may be driving around small children. The new Toyota RAV4 comes with a segment leading 8 standard air bags. Toyota engineers also worked the interior design to allow for the most cargo volume in the segment. The interior of the 2013 Toyota RAV4 is completely new with some great new features including an Acoustic Windshield which helps reduce wind noise. From the driver's perspective, the new instrumentation is pleasing while being easy to use. After the 7 year run of the previous model, Toyota has really stepped it up inside the cabin. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 sits nicely on the road and you will like the way it drives on the highway. This is an economy crossover SUV after all so you shouldn't expect the RAV4 to ride like a luxury car. Bottom line is that Toyota did a great job on the newly redesigned RAV4. They really hit the mark on this one and it's a huge improvement over the outgoing model. The 2013 Toyota RAV4 certainly has all the features you need. In fact the RAV4 can now compete with the Honda CR-V at the top of the economy crossover SUV segment. 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/hyundai/santa-fe/?id=32972 The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is a brand new redesign that makes this the 3rd generation automobile. It's hard to believe that the Santa Fe came out back in 1998. Back then there were not many crossovers on the market yet. Now that practically every automobile manufacturer has a crossover, Hyundai is playing it smart. They have gotten rid of the Veracruz model and then Hyundai has created a long wheel base and a short wheel base Santa Fe. Prices start at $24,450. There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport. The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG combined for the naturally aspirated engine. On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks, Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. Safety wise the Santa Fe comes with 7 airbags, stability control, traction control, and anti-lock brakes. These items are all standard on the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Many improvements have been made and maybe the most important is the reduction in weight. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe weighs 266 lbs. less than the previous model. That weight reduction has a positive effect on fuel economy. The Santa Fe Sport can carry up to 5 people. The rear seat is a 40/20/40 split bench making for a versatile crossover SUV. You can order the Santa Fe in either FWD or AWD configurations. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is priced right alongside its competition. But with the Santa Fe you get more standard features for your money along with a great 10 year 100k mile warranty. 2013 Honda Accord Sedan Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/honda/accord/2013/ The mid-sized sedan segment is by far the most competitive segment in the entire automotive industry. Practically every manufacturer has a vehicle targeting this segment. For years the Accord was at the top of the heap winning award after award, year after year. But the Accord quickly got stale and with the new Ford Fusion, Nissan Altima, and Toyota Camry redesigns; the Accord was losing ground quickly. Now we have a new measuring stick with the all new redesigned 2013 Honda Accord Sedan. The Accord is one of the safest bets in America today. The base price is $21,680; the car drives great, has a nice resale value, and offers wonderful reliability. Most enthusiasts and automotive journalist would cringe at the thought of having to test drive yet another family sedan. But the reality is that this is still the most popular segment of car in America today. The Camry and Accord combined sell almost a million cars per year. Honda has basically set the standard with the Accord for over 30 years. This nameplate has been around since the 1970's and is now in its 9th generation and the Accord keeps on getting better. What's unusual about the new 2013 Honda Accord is that it has actually gotten shorter while interior room has increased and the cargo room is larger, which is a great testament to Honda Engineers. Styling is dramatically improved with the nice shoulder lines and shorter overhangs. Basically the car looks more modern and up to date. But it is not just about styling with the new Accord Sedan. Under the hood is a brand new engine and CVT transmission. Not to be outdone by Mazda's SkyActiv engine technology, Honda has released their own line called Earth Dreams Technology. The new engine is very efficient and powerful. The motor is a 2.4 liter 4-cylinder that makes 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft. of torque. The CVT transmission helps the Accord to get fuel economy ratings of 27 MPG in the city and 36 MPG on the highway. The Accord comes in several trim levels that include the: Base LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, and the top of the line Touring model. If you want to get a 4-cylinder engine, that comes standard on the 3 lower trims. When you move up to the more expensive trims the V-6 engine becomes optional/standard. Shoppers of mid-sized sedans are looking for rear legroom space. Thankfully the Accord has plenty of it including a lot of rear headroom too. The Accord's interior has been completely redesigned. You have an all new instrument panel, center stack, and gauges. Everything works really well. The speedometer looks like a high-tech Swiss watch, the steering wheel is nice and compact, and the controls are great. Another bonus is the fact that every 2013 Honda Accord comes with and 8-inch infotainment screen standard as well as a rear backup camera. The Accord also comes with Honda's new lane-watch safety system. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/ Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel

2013 Toyota Land Cruiser Test Drive & SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/toyota/land-cruiser/2013/?id=32972 The Toyota Land Cruiser has been around since the early 1950's when it was built for military use during the Korean War. A few years later the Land Cruiser became a capable civilian vehicle that could handle off-road conditions. The current 200-series Land Cruiser has morphed into a large luxury SUV but still retains its hard-core off-road ability. The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser has a base price of $78,555. For almost 60 years Toyota has been producing the Land Cruiser. This is a legendary off-road vehicle that has built a reputation for not only being capable but durable as well. Not to be confused with the Land Rover, the Land Cruiser really has some unique styling cues about it. The Land Cruiser has always been designed to be a gifted off-road sport utility vehicle and in many countries this is used as a police or military vehicle still to this day. Over the decades the Land Cruiser has really evolved; it's been manufactured in all shapes and sizes. Here in the U.S. we primarily get the 8-passenger 4-door version. Back in 1999, the Land Cruiser was converted over from a 6-cylinder to a V-8 which elevated the SUV's status to a more family friendly vehicle. Today there is a 5.7 liter V-8 engine that makes 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy is 13 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway. Overall the interior is great with the Land Cruiser having the ability to carry 8-passengers in comfort. The 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser offers an amazing driving experience. Its size is not too large like a Suburban. Instead the Land Cruiser is the ideal size for an 8-passenger large SUV. This is a great vehicle that you will want to keep in your family for a long time. It's now in it's 4th generation and Toyota has done a pretty good job at redesigning at, the last generation was very popular and sold well, but did not have the same RAV4 roots that it always had, this one however fixes that. The V6 will be missed, but again those were never a part of the basic RAV4 ingredients. The interior of the new RAV4 is a nice cabin to be in with nice french stitching across the dashbaord and a great ergonomically correct interior. All wheel Drive is an option and cargo space still remains pretty good. All in all great SUV from Toyota, Camerons Car Reviews highly recommends putting this car to your test drive list if your looking for a Small SUV, don't forget this is also Camerons Top Choice for a Small SUV for 2013.
