2011 Genesis Coupe R-Spec vs. Subiefest (feat. WRX)
While visiting the mega Subaru event, Subiefest, DSTV Producer Ryan Douthit decides to see how a 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec stacks up against a pro driver in a modified 2008 Subaru WRX. Can the Genesis' 306-hp V6 give him the edge he needs?
2015 Subaru WRX STI Reviewed and Driven
Ryan takes a look at the (mostly) all-new Subaru WRX STI. How does this new
car shape up versus the old and how well does it do on a closed course? We
head to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to find out!
The 2015 Subaru WRX STI features the same 2.5-liter H4 engine as the
outgoing model with 305-horses and attached to Subaru's Symmetrical
All-Wheel Drive system. However, for 2015 it gets an all-new chassis. Does
it add up to the best STI ever?

Get it on disc! http://bit.ly/exC2ns - The annual all-Subaru shootout and

and crashes were all on hand. DSTV was there to see exactly what went down.
See if you can find the one out-of-place Hyundai in the video, driven by
DSTV's own Ryan Douthit... for some odd reason.

The third round of the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship was
held on a purpose built track outside of RFK Stadium in Washington, DC.
Subaru Rally Team USA drivers, Bucky Lasek and Sverre Isachsen, began the
event brimming with confidence. Nearly two years of development work on the
team's Subaru WRX STI rallycross cars have begun to pay off and the team
has now proven they have the speed to compete at the top. Lasek starts the
weekend at the top of the timesheets, earning the #2 seed. Isachsen
qualifies just .4 seconds behind. But in GRC, you never know whats going to
happen in the final rounds...
On the same weekend in Europe, the STI team from Japan is tackling a
different challenge -- the 24 Hours of Nürburgring race in Germany. Coined
the "Green Hell", the 15-mile ribbon of tarmac through the Eifel Forest has
seen some of the most grueling racing known to man. Over 200 cars will take
the start, and only half are expected to finish. The STI team prepares all
year for this challenge, and has brought the 2015 WRX STI here to win.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track vs 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Performance Package
Regardless of their opposing design philosophies, both the Genesis Coupe
and Mustang are equipped
with high-output naturally aspirated V6 engines and 6-speed manual
gearboxes, tip the scales at around 3,500 lbs, and are packaged with firmer
suspensions, bigger brakes and stickier tires so that you can literally
drive them off the showroom floor and onto the race track. And that's
exactly what we've done.

2015 Subaru WRX STI: The Daily Driver Rally Car Returns! - Ignition Ep. 107
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago tests the latest generation of the
perennial rally car favorite: The 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Much like the new
WRX, this STI has an entirely new and significantly stiffer body structure,
but unlike the WRX, it still uses the same 305 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that's powered the car
since 2008. Our introduction to the car occurs at the press launch at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca. From there, we test the STI to see the performance
improvements and drive it on one of our favorite mountain roads. How does
the new STI stack up? Stay tuned to find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.

Our 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track is painted Bathurst Black. That's
Bathurst as in Bathurst 1000, a 620-mile (1,000-km) race on Australia's
Mount Panorama Circuit, a 3.9-mile road course with 23 turns, grades of up
to 16 percent and a 1.2-mile-long straightaway named Conrod Straight after
a spectacular engine failure endured by racer Frank Kleinig in 1939.
Only heavily modified Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores in the V8 Supercar
series (Australia's take on NASCAR) race at Bathurst today, so there's no
obvious connection to the unassuming black clearcoat on our V6-equipped
2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track.
But as we drive the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, we can imagine Hyundai's
chassis engineers fine-tuning the ride and handling of their first
rear-wheel-drive coupe on the demanding Bathurst circuit. Probably the cost
constraints of building a $30,000 car don't allow for working holidays Down
Under. Yet the 2010 Genesis Coupe isn't some soggy two-door version of the
Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan.
Instead you'll find a very capable chassis underneath the 2010 Hyundai
Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track's arresting bodywork. Hyundai's sport coupe might
not be track-ready out of the box, but it doesn't wither when we pitch it
into Bathurst-like turns on lumpy two-lane roads.
