1988 S-10 Blazer V8 Swap. 5.3 LSX Engine
This is my on going Project. Frame off build. 2001 5.3 LSX Vortec truck
engine with LS1 intake, Lunati Voodoo 227/233 .584 Lift cam. TH-350 Trans
3400 Stall. Ford 8.8 rear end, 4.10 gears w/disc brakes.

Just to help someone else with there project, I'm proud to give the names
of companys I did business with
I bought a few of the conversion parts. Oil Pan, headers mounts. The rest
of the parts I couldn't buy or afford I built.
1999 s10 ls1 swap
It took me 2 months and 3 weeks to complete the swap after I built the
engine. Cab was removed and everything under the truck cab forward has
been detailed and painted. Battery is under right rear of cab,
transmission cooler and fan are under the bed. Engine is out of a 01
Corvette and has a Lunati Voodoo cam 60510. Home built 1 3/4 stainless
fenderwell headers into 2.5" Exhaust
into dynatech mufflers with C6 Vette tips. Home built air intake that goes
straight down into 3.5" aluminum tubing off of the throttle body and into a
T with 2 air filters tucked under the front bumper. Truck has A/C and all
the creature comforts. It drives like a beast thanks to Pete for the
perfect tune. Truck is not finished but I do drive it. Have a couple more
connections to finish out under the hood then Ford 9" rear and new wheels
and tires. Hopefully in the fall I will remove the bed and detail out the
frame back there.
LS1 swap S10 turbo SCHWAB SHOP CUSTOMS
Video of my S10 project. 98 corvette LS1 engine swap, mild engine build,
t70 turbo, GM T56 6-speed transmission
with Dodge Viper internals. Ford 8.8 inch rear axle swap with 3.73's and a
limited slip. GM hotcam 112LSA, underdrive pulley, intake/headers, Wiring
/ computer from Jared at CPW, Type S greddy blow off valve ebay knock off
version. turbocharger is mounted
between the transmission and the frame rail, located underneath the
passenger seat. Pontiac GTO REAR seats mounted as my front seats. All
fabrication done by me. Schwab Shop Customs.
S10 ls1 walk around
2000Ls1, tsp 5.3L heads, ms3 cam, fast 92mm intake and t/b, under drive
pulley, 1 3/4" long tube header, 3" Exhaust, built 4l60e, 3600 stall, 10 bolt rear
end with 4:10's

with 671 blower, Dynoed 680 horse@ 6600 RPM. We
decided to test out my transmission , the first run I think I accidently
bumped it to neutral, second run was clean all the way through 3rd gear.
Good thing I dont plan to shift in the mud anyway, its just nice to know
things are working properly! I need to upgrade to 70 shafts in the front
