2011 5.0 "Cammed" Idle

Before and after of what the idle sounds like after just a tune. Current modifications include JLT intake, Magnaflow offroad cat deleted xpipe and street series cat back. The tune is a 93 performance tune bought through Evolution performance and tuned by Jon Lund of Lund Racing.

Fastlane tears down the 2011 Ford 5.0L Mustang Motor
So we got one of the first 2011 5.0L crate motors from Ford Performance, so naturally we took it apart to see how it's made. you can tell Ford is feeling the pressure from GM's LS motors in the Camaro as this motor is a pretty big departure from the previous 4.6L and looks as though Ford really put some thought into building this one. Piston oil squirters, beefier rods, captured rollers & channeled bearings are just a few of the old school style performance tweaks with this new motor. Check out the video for more.
