First pass at sac raceway it went 10.47 with a 1.58 60 foot all stock suspention with traction bars and a 8 inch slick.the car had no cage and with all the stock brown plaid interior and lap belts..........
1975 Vega GT Project PART 1 [No Music]
The documentation of my 1975 Vega GT being transformed from a 4cyl
automatic, 4 lug car to a 350 sbc , muncie 4 speed, ford 9" 3.50 gear, long
tube header/dual Exhaust.
This is only the first half of the project.

71 vega wagon 383 stroker gopro hero 2
1971 vega, fresh 383 built by cope Brothers, built powerglide, dart heads
built by Cope Bros, running on trick 114 octane, 4150 hp, 9" narrowed ford
with 15x12x29 hoosier slicks, centerline 4"front,, with 4.88 gears, hooker
super comp ceramic coated headers edelbrock airgap,, Dynomax performance mufflers
guessing around 500 hp... just a little cruise around the hood testing out
the gopro hero 2 in Port Orchard WA.

1972 V8 Vega GT
1972 Vega GT--20k original miles, mostly original paint, original deluxe
interior, genuine 1970 350/360hp LT-1, matching block, heads, intake,
carburetor, distributor and air cleaner, TH350, Hurst Auto Stick II
shifter, 12 bolt posi, 4.10 gear, Stewart Warner Green Line gauges, Cragar
s/s wheels and Goodyear Polyglas tires. Found car this way years back. Had
been garaged since the mid 70's. Fun little car to drive on the street.

There were some fast cars in the door slammer shootout with Pat Neal from
Tucson in his Ford powered Camaro taking the win over De la
Rosa's Vega. De la Roasa had backed out of the staging beams in the final
getting an automatic DQ, the two racers split the purse. Pat was running as
fast as 8.6's with the Camaro while Jason Hinojos ran
his first 8 second pass in his blow-thru Mustang with an 8.998 @ 150. The
street and modified classes were combined.

2013.....This car has been in the family since almost new...Driven by the
current owners Dad back and forth to work for sixteen year....A cool

Chevy won two catagories one of which was a women driving a Camero (street
drag class) the other was a man driving i don't know what lol (foot brake
Ford won with an L Rail the electoronics class
The yellow vega was driven by a good friend of ours Mike
and the Yellow S-10 was driven by Terry
The Jet car was driven by Elaine Larson it is the fastest jet car doing the
1/4 mile at 280 miles per hour. Woot Woot go Girl : ) : )
When i was in the stands recording a Firebird going down the track and
everyone hollared and stood up I like a dumb bunny turned my camera off in
the excitement Darn it The driver loss control of the car and went sideways
halfway down the track ending up in the fence. The drive was not hurt!!!
All in All it was a good day!
