1964 Corvette Strip
A 1964 Corvette that my friends at Strip Technologies are taking down to
bare fiber glass..it looks like a pretty nice car..but when they remove the
paint you see what all needs to be fixed...still a solid car...but in the
end it is going to look a lot better..interesting process..check it out!!

➟ About the Video:
"This 1965 Vette Coupe was converted into a race car after it was stolen
and recovered stripped in the late-1960's. An original "High Horse"
327CID/365HP 4 speed car, its original color was black - the rarest color
for mid-year Corvettes. Until 2008 it had never left California.
While many current "vintage race cars" are only vintage in appearance,
"Blue" is era correct to the core. All parts are factory GM items,
including the '65 date 327 block, "double hump" high performance heads, and
aluminum 365HP intake manifold. The transmission is a correct Borg Warner
T-10, which sends the 460HP of the 327 to a factory 4.11:1 rear
differential that is fitted with an oil cooler for endurance races. Factory
J56 racing brake calipers are fitted front & rear Bilstein shocks. The
original fuel tank has a custom bladder & foam for safety.
An incredibly well balanced and fun race car, "Blue" has competed in over
100 events since 1993 including multiple entries into the prestigious
Monterey Historic, Wine Country Classic, and Watkins Glen races. This is
the one car that is always guaranteed to draw a crowd at the track"
Limerock Vintage Corvette 2nd Practice Session
Sept 4, 2009 Seven Corvettes practice at the Limerock, CT 27th Annual
Vintage Festival. Two 1965, two 1967, two 1969 and one 1970 fo battle with
McLaren, Lotus, Jaguar, Ferrari, Paw-sha, Ford GT40, Cobra and a gaggle of
Rustangs. Watch the White 1967 convertible # 57 as he was practicing to
ther limit. DocRebuild.com at work. It's a hoy, smoky, smelly, dirty job,
but somebody/s gotta do it.
'65 Corvette Stingray
Brent Jarvis of Perfornance Restorations built 2 amazing '65 Sting Rays.
Blue "65" is pure race, red "Maxed Out" is an award winning show car, on
the cover of several magazines but he still rips it through the gears.
