9 minutes of footage of Colin Comer driving his #04 1959 Austin Healey

Started on the pole and finished 1st overall (out of 40 cars) and 1st in
class. Colin's teammate (and wife!) Cana Comer started 4th O/A and finished
3rd O/A and 1st in class in her #26 1959 Sprite
First start of and Racing Formula Vee Engine in over 30 years
I bought a Formula Vee racing engine that had been built by Kenny Brown in
1978 but never started. It was locked it had gotten water in one cylinder
and I had to put new rings in that cylinder. I installed it in to a 60's
Sardini Formula Vee this is the first time I tried to start it. I later
found the fuel pump problem as a leaky fuel filter sucking air.
The Ridge Motorsports Park: Spec Miata Battle
Sick with a stomach bug all weekend, Kyle Keenan (Purple #44, camera car)
and Tom Ferrara (Green #00) decided to start at the back of the pack for
Saturday's Super Touring Race. Kyle wins STU, Tom wins STL, and the pair
had an awesome battle around the track.

2013 NSW Formula Vee Championship - Round 5 - Race 1
Start Position: 4th, Finish Position: 4th, Best Lap: 1:14.6014 (FL)
Location: Sydney Motorsport Park (North Circuit)
I had a collision on the first lap with #22 and fell back to 13th. I was
going to go deep into the corner and go around the outside while the others
were fighting over the inside, but #22 moved over to the outside and braked
sooner to take a different line and I got caught out. Completely my
fault... my stopping distance probably wasn't helped too much by an oily
rear disc caused by a failed rear axle bearing that we had just fixed.
This is my first year in any form of motorsport so don't be too critical ;)

Original 1976 LeGrand Mk22 Formula Vee
This is an original 1976 Le Grand Mk22 built by Aldin 'Red' LeGrand in 1976
and raced in 1977.
I am trying to find history, pictures and stories on this vintage FV race
car for its future restoration. The car has chrome front end and chrome
rear transmission axels, the original transmission is not in the video but
I have and is been inspected for gearing.
The trailer also is really neat, simple but great detail in function. The
trailer came with the race car and looks to be in the same area.
Some people who I am looking to contact that may know are the following:
Robin LeGrand, Bob Campbell, Andy Mahood, Slim Peperdine, anyone who has
knowledge regarding Le Grand and KWIC.
Any help would be appreciated,
SCCA Runoffs 2012 - Formula Vee

VSCDA ELVF XXVIII Formula Vee 50th Anniversary Race
The Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival XXVIII six lap Formula Vee feature race
on Sunday, September 8th, 2013 at Road America.
I started 14th out of a field of 31 cars and finished 8th. This was an
incredibly fun drive, with tons of drafting and passing and a wild finish
where 4 of us fight for that 8th place spot. Pay close attention on lap two
as we approach Canada Corner, where John Kennelly takes a spin and there
are several close calls as cars take evasive action.
After a pass on the straight between turns 4 & 5 on Lap 3, the video skips
forward to lap 4 at turn 5 since I didn't have a position change and was
just chasing down the cars in the 6, 7, and 8 spots. What follows is a
lesson in what not to do in momentum cars on drafting tracks; several times
I try to get by Jerry Baker in the blue #18 Lynx in places where I'd have
to force the issue if I'd wanted to make the pass (and this is vintage
racing, so we don't do that!). All I ended up doing was killing my speed
and getting passed for the trouble. I finally figure it out on the last
lap, bide my time and make a last ditch drafting pass climbing the hill to
the finish. Ricky del Rosario, Mitch Beiser, Jerry Baker and myself all
finish within 3/10ths of a second of each other.
I want to thank Mike Kitzmiller one last time for coming to my rescue the
day before the event and renting me an engine for my Lynx, otherwise I
would have just been a spectator all weekend. He, Eric Coppock, Don Carone
and Garrett Van Camp installed the engine in the paddock Thursday night and
it was flawless all weekend. Hats off to you gentlemen, it was truly
