Hayabusa turbo dyno test with Geartronics paddleshift
This is a turbocharged Hayabusa powered car of Austria's Georg Pacher undergoing Dyno testing at Radical Performance Engines. Gear shift is by the Geartronics closed-loop GCU, interfaced to a Life Racing F88 engine ECU. Dyno testing does not accurately simulate the real loads on a transmission, but it can be a useful tool to get some baseline parameters, and to help improve engine response for the downshift throttle blipping. One thing we don't do is make claims about gear shift times that have been acheived during Dyno testing, as this would give a false impression of what is possible on track.
